There are a number of locations for this restaurant. The food is good. Prices are also good. Take out available. Fresh orange juice. Try the peameal Canadian bacon.

Very quick to be seated. Polite staff. Great food. The photo shows a light breakfast - eggs, fruit salad and toast. 3 blueberry pancakes and corned beef hash, eggs and fried potatoes. Nice fresh orange juice. $38 for what is in the photo. We would go back and just have the light breakfast. $7.49 each.

Right beside the Ritz-Carlton, just up the street from the Skydome, this place still serves excellent breakfast/brunch for reasonable prices. Only problem is that is was very, very busy on game day. But that is a good problem for the owners. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 20 mins.

Being jet lagged we had our first breakfast as a family here at 7am. The service and food was exceptional and our waiter was super friendly. We then returned a couple of days later to eat at lunchtime and the service was slow, my husband's meal was lukewarm with some items undercooked. Such a shame as the menu of breakfast... More

Our hotel recommended the Sunset Grill for breakfast...easy walk...and we ended eating there all 4 days we were in Toronto. Great way to start the day. Waiters were all good and attentive, food was good and ample, coffee was the best. Tried omelletes, pancakes, and egg sandwiches...never disappointed. Diner feel, busy place. Locals and tourists together...like Toronto, a diverse place.

This is a great place for breakfast. We were a family eating on vacation, but we saw a diverse crowd of business people, construction workers, and regulars while there. Our server was very upbeat and helpful. The portions were quite large and filling, and the menu was extensive and reasonably priced. The coffee was pretty good too. This is a... More

My wife and I went here for breakfast because our hotel staff recommended this place. This is a busy restaurant on a weekday. Got seated right away. There menu has just about everything you can think of. I ordered the Grand Western omelette and my wife ordered the veggie omelette. When our meal arrived the portions are large. My omelette... Visited here fairly early for breakfast one morning. A very warm welcome and lots of fresh coffee later we all ordered some sort of cooked breakfast. I had a mix of pancakes and eggs, the portions were huge but so tasty! Excellent value for a hungry belly.

We ate here on a Sat am, and it was crowded but no wait for a table for two. Ordered eggs benedict soft poached but eggs were cooked hard. My son had a good old fashioned eggs and bacon breakfast and enjoyed it.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
