For years we've heard this place is great, and driven right by it but today, we went in for lunch! You can order off the main menu, but they also have a pretty decent hot and cold buffet, with different options. We chose 5 items for $15, and my plate was heaped high with veal, lasagna, caprese salad, fried zucchini... More

Family friendly restaurant - owner operated - great people, great food. Off the grid a bit - need a car.

This is a little out of the way but the food and ambiance are very good. Fresh pasta is excellent. It has a family atmosphere. I have been there for dinner twice and both times was very pleased with everything.

Went for lunch at about 1:30 pm on a week day. Parking is a challenge here even after the noon rush hour. Took the $12 Buffet, they serve and you get to pick 3-4 items from the hot and cold section so I do not know where other commentators claim they stack the plate high. The hot section food was... My family have been going to this restaurant for about 4 years. The food is very good, but can sometimes be inconsistent. The service is also quite good. It is a family-friendly atmosphere where you are treated well and welcomed every time. I've held a large event here and the service and food were wonderful! It is a great restaurant... More

excellent take out pizza, serving a lot of the film industry (studios are nearby) Take out. Offers vegetarian, one with lots of arugala, which I love, and your usual fair.

I used to regularly take my guests to this restaurant. The food was always good, the service great. Authentic Italian home cooked food. On the last few occasions, I found the prices were inconsistent. Disappointed!

This was a spur of the moment decision as we happened to run a Trip Advisor check of nearby restaurants. The reviews were spot on. The food and staff were well paired. Real Delicious food and reasonably priced. Even the kids devoured every last bite of the tasty lasagna. Highly recommend this establishment and will be back.

This place reminds me of a trattorias in southern Italy. Just great food, simple - kind of funny and out of date interior, which is typical in Italy. One contrast to Italy, the service is very, very good. They make great pizzas, a nice osso bucco. No complaints and definitely would come back again.

Passed by on a Saturday night on our way to a downtown restaurant, and because the place looked packed, we thought we'd give it a try. A little Italian restaurant tucked away on an industrial street in the east end, packed on a Saturday night? Must be a secret little spot that some people weren't letting out. We weren't disappointed... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
