This place was very quiet mid week for breakfast. The breakfast was average priced and decently portioned. I would recommend for people to go to frans next door if your looking for a better experience though.

Came here with a friend because I was craving a burger and wanted to try their "fish bowl" drinks, we got place in the corner so our "didn't notice" that we were there. she was nice enough, but the vibe of this place was gross. We got our drinks, which cost like 12 bucks for a mini fish bowl which... More

Loved the menu, lots of choice with burger selections running the gamut from lamb to brisket. I had the traditional beef with salad and pop. It was a high quality burger combo for only about a buck more than the fast food joints. The table service was great. Ten people were served at the same time!

My server Kiera was fun and knowledgable and is a sign that this place hires well. I had a burger here, because why wouldn't you, and I enjoyed the whole experience. Kobe beef topped with mushrooms and avocado with very tasty fries was my lunch and I liked it a lot!

W Burger Bar is a great place for a burger & a beer. They offer several different types of burgers & you can choose between a lot of toppings & sauces. The food was fresh & tasty. The most amazing thing when we were there was that when we visited the second time after about two weeks, the waitress instantly... More

I had this place recommended by hotel receptionist (they must've been on a retainer). It was not good. To build your burger costs extra. Rushed service. Main course came out while still eating starter with 2 forks. They don't have knives. Main was sent back due to poor hand writing. The sides came out at different times and not together.

We just happened on W Burger Bar as it was near our hotel. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. She even got us a taste of the beer before we decided which pitcher to buy. I had a slider which was super juicy and the Poutine - someone in Niagara Falls had recommended I try - it was different... More

My burger was inedible and my friend's burger was just as bad. At the same time, we received quite the attitude and rude approach from our server, which was completely uncalled for and it was unprovoked. They really need to retrain their servers, work on their food, but I have a feeling these fake positive reviews on this site is... More

this is perhaps one of the worst restaurants you could go to in this area. I personally think mcDonald's service and food is superior to W Burger's. They have some of the worst waitresses in this country

The lunch and beer was good but I was treated poorly. They gave me the bill without asking them. I won't came back.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
