I have to retract an earlier review of this place. Last time the potatoes with my sauerkraut were undercooked, and one of the sausages had 2/3 missing. But I used to like this place, so I forgave. This time, we arrived at 11:30 and I ordered the Carbonade Flamande because they don't have gluten free bread or buns. The portion... More

To be fair I have only been here once, and had the wings they where terrible. They did have a good selection and some tasty micro brews. I would be hesitant to order food here again, but just for a quick beer would go back

Met people for lunch and this was a central location that was easy to get too. Across from the Eaton Centre it was also convenient for those of us planning to do some post lunch shopping. Service was good and restaurant is quite big so no issues getting a table. Food was ok. Chicken quesadilla was disappointing as it had... More

Wonderful beverages and menu choices. The staff is welcoming and makes every effort to suggest menu items that are particularly popular.

I have been to one of these restaurants in France a couple of years ago and wanted to try this one at home. It is supposed to be very busy at night but we had our Saturday lunch there. We both had the Carbonade Flammande Beef Stewed in Beer, it was truly delicious, the sauce was lick your plate good.... More

We went to try the beers of course. They were pretty decent. The bar tenders (Sadek & Sam) took great care of us. They have yellow dots painted on the floor as a path to follow to the restroom, which we thought was so funny and helpful.

Came here with some work colleagues as it was recommended to us. Overall the experience was average, nothing outstanding to mention. The service was good, our server was attentive. She was very helpful with menu choices. I also like that they recommend what type of beer to eat with each menu choice. Not a lot of beer choices, only 1... More

We had seen another 3 Brewers outlet (Les 3 Brasseurs) in Montréal but, unfortunately, it was so busy that we could not get a table. This time, in Toronto, we were luckier. On entering, a very pleasant waitress took us upstairs where the environment was quieter (although you could have fooled me!). We ordered what we thought was typical Canadian... More

My husband and I were celebrating his birthday at the restaurant and it was a flawless experience. I made the reservation on the same day by email, and I got a promptly reply. The place has great atmosphere, excellent food, beer and service. Our server Ruth made us feel home. Its a cool place where you can enjoy good music... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
