This very popular brew house has crammed too many tables in to try to accommodate the numbers trying to enter this has made it uncomfortable for some diners so watch were you sit. Loud music making it difficult to hold a conversation. The menu is full of fast food type dishes with high carb and fat content. Vegetarians not catered... More

Cozy place with great burgers and great beers. Unfortunately the restaurant has very bad acoustics and it's very loudly and noisy so it's not a place to go if you want a quiet eatery.

Had lunch there after a morning of Eaton Center shopping and boy was I thirsty. Great micro brewery, had a few different types (blonde and amber) and they where great. They have beer glass sizes from 10 Oz to 57 0z, who wouldn't like that. The food is road house style with a flair, everything I saw looked mouth watering.... More

Great place to unwind. Awesome selection of craft beers paired with German style food. Yummy! Very good service and knowledgeable about beers served (for a change!)

It's a very good place in downtown Toronto. The service was nice and they accommodate to the clients need. I requested an accessible table since I wasn't able to use the stairs and they look for it immediately. The food is amazing, their shrimps are to die for and their beers were fabulous (even though I'm not a beer drinker).... More

Tried out this spot while wandering down Yonge Street the day after our arrival in Toronto, enroute to the Hockey Hall of Fam....my recollection was that there were lots of "iffy" looking spots to eat along this street; too many to choose from and lots of strange-looking ethnic joints....so we went for this chain (we later found out) with the... We first found this place in Montreal, Les Trois Brasseurs. The food is reasonably priced and a variety of great beer also at reasonable prices. Many great things on menu like the shanks (used to be lamb) but their pizzas are our fav, not too much crust and delicious toppings.

Decided to eat here as it was near our hotel. Interesting place. Food was good but service slow. The poor bartender had to wait tables up on the second floor. He was very nice though and clearly it wasn't his fault. Fun place. Would visit again.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
