Lady Marmalade has become the hottest breakfast joint in Riverside ... or is it Leslieville? Hard to tell, everything seems to run together on nouveau, Queen Street E, between the Don Valley and Pape. There were two of us on this early Friday morn. She ordered the bread pudding style french toast, which is served with fresh fruit, syrup and... More

This quirky little restaurant on trendy Queen Street East has for years been known for their fabulous breakfasts. This is still the case. The service is prompt & friendly & the food is simply excellent & delicious. Be aware that they only accept cash.

My daughter introduced me to Lady Marmalade on a recent trip to Toronto. Although we had to wait 10 minutes on a Monday morning for a table it was worth the hunger pains! The menu was extensive but finally chose the Crepe Croque Monsieur for brunch and was not disappointed,

It became mine and my friends' favourite brunch spot every weekend. Always so busy. Always so good. Their smoothies are the best too. Banana-ice cream-peanut butter... mmmmm. Lots of options for veg also! Great service and atmosphere! Oh is ot breakfasttime yet!!!

Lady Marmalade opened its second location in Hogtown over four years ago (their first resto opened in Victoria, BC in 2005). And I’m happy to say they’ve stayed the course. Lady Marmalade prides itself on serving up beautiful breakfasts and lovely lunches seven days a week. The continuous four-deep lineups along its Queen Street location — that wraps around the... I had brunch at Lady Marmalade because it got rave reviews and my friends who have eaten there say it's delicious. I went on a Tuesday at noon and there was a long line up. I waited for about 30 mins but I've seen this place on the weekend so I am well aware you can wait much longer. There... More

As the title says, the spinach salad was awesome with mango, red onion and walnuts. Also had coconut pumpkin soup without dairy, excellent as well.

I've been to Lady Marmalade's twice. It's a small restaurant and there is often a line, but it's worth it. They have an extensive choice of breakfast options and the 2 I've tried we're absolutely delicious. What's also great is that they offer vegetarian options for most of their breakfasts. Well worth the wait. I'll definitely go back!

Went here for lunch on a Monday afternoon and it was super busy. The wait wasn't too bad, but once we were seated and ordered food it took over an hour to get our food. I got the salmon sandwich and it was really good, it made up for the long wait. Other than the service being slow, it was... More

Googled "best eggs Benedict in Toronto" and this was the top hit. Fantastic and interesting menu for breakfast/brunch. Cash-only. often a line. fun eclectic decor. Care applied to the food. Eggs bennies are interesting. Lots of other choices too.

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
