This place has a great brunch menu with lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. Just know that this place is not that big so be prepared to wait. Also bring cash as they don't take credit card.

Sara and Eleanor teamed up to feed my friend and me this morning. They're a great new team that kept the coffee flowing and hot and our orders were letter-perfect with not a reminder needed or anything forgotten. Not our first visit and not my first review but deserving of a new one to acknowledge consistent and well-prepared food with... More

Love Lady M's charm - everything from the store front to the mismatched utensils! Very generous portions of eggs and they are so yummy!! I also order the eggs benny and always have some left over to eat later. The only thing is the long line ups if you don't get there around 8:30am.

It's unbelievable how this place can keep up with the demand and have the food be so consistently good. The bread pudding is to die for, the juices are lovely and the egg dishes simply superb. Lots of veggie dishes too and salads...Not just the standard potatoes on the side. Definitely worth the wait.

We have been anxious to get to Lady Marmalade for quite some time now. We finally made the trek from North York to Leslieville. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The food when it arrived was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The meal was hot and tasty. I now am a true believer in fresh organic. We will... More

Friendly, comfy restaurant on Queen St E in Leslieville. In summer, windows open onto the street. Lots of unique breakfast egg dishes as well as great salads and sandwiches. Loved the Crunchy Thai Slaw but the optional salmon I added to it was a bit dry. I still plan to be back for the Slaw but probably without the salmon.... More

We ventured off the beaten bath to find this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! The service was even better. The space is tiny though, leave your animals at home and suite cases at the hotel. The line out the door was the first indication that the rumors of the "must-go-to" spot were true, but it... More

My son introduced me to Lady Marmalade a few years ago and we can't stop going back. Yes there is generally a wait but the staff are very efficient and move customers along well without being pushy. The quirky environment, old-diner style table and chairs and the hustle and bustle make you anxious for your meal. Anything you order will... More

I went there alone for a quick lunch and it turned out to be a nice surprise! I ordered the salmon sandwich, it was divine. I could feel the flavour of almost every ingredient! I could notice that there was a high quality selection of ingredients and the dishes were well served.

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
