I came in with my family of 5 and was treated with disrespect. We asked for the large table and we're told once it was clear we could have it. Instead we got a table for 3 while the large table was broken up to seat 2 parties of 2. My children were hungry so we ordered their food first.... More

Love this little hole in the wall. I go here every weekend. Good small place for brunch. Eggs benny with avocado and Brie is excellent and so is the rest of the menu.

We arrived to find a pretty big lineup, which we expected. The wait was about half hour or so. We ordered the Huevos Rancherito, the chocolate raspberry bread pudding, the veggie and cheddar eggs Benny and coffee. The food was very good, worth the wait. However, the service could have been better. We had to ask to get a refill... More

NOTE: CASH ONLY Lady Marmalade reminds me of places I used to eat growing up in Seattle - funky, healthy, fun. The space is small - regulars know to carry cash, hunker down and be prepared to wait. There were five in our party, so we got a good look at the menu. My husband loved the Moroccan Scramble, and... More

Eating the mango salsa eggs benedict quickly made me forget the incredibly long wait time for a table. This is the best eggs benedict I've had in any Toronto brunch spot. I highly recommend their Bacon/Avocado/Brie Benny and Cheddar/Bacon/Mango Salsa Benny. Staff is very attentive. Only a few negatives to this place. The wait for a table can be quite... More

The staff were very very very attentive anything you wanted they got for you but sadly they didn't get me a good breakfast.

My husband and I used to like this place a lot and were frequent there. However, per our two recent visits, we feel like the quality of the food is not as it used to be for the dishes that we always order. I am not sure what has changed (management, chef?) or maybe our taste! Still, this is a... More

Not the best location and a below average set up inside. Coffee was good, but not convinced by the menu, eggs benny too many ways and little other choice! What came was fine but nothing special and not worth the trip out of downtown in my mind!

This place I have been wanting to try for the longest time and it was bookmarked on Yelp but I finally got to try out the food here. The lineups here are a bit long, Sunday afternoon around 12pm we waited around 30-45 minutes. BIG NOTE, this place accepts cash only so make sure you bring some $$. The restaurant... More

Small place but big taste. Locals were lined up to get the table and that was enough for me to jump into the line with wife and my two young kids turned out it was well worth it. Their moroccon omelette was great. My wife orderd some scramble and she loved it too. From drinks to food, everything was perfect.

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
