Omg! Food is amazing! Best Turkish food I've eaten for a long time. Really lovely staff and good atmosphere, awesome.

Tonight was my first time at A La Turk. Ive been wanting to go for a while. The food was great... but the service was very poor. At the end of our meal, there were only 4 tables left (2 on the patio & 2...inside). The whole time we were there I felt like the waitress didn't like her job, that we were a nuisance to her. She walked past our table all night, almost avoiding looking at us. The other table on the patio had to chase her down twice.... once to ask for more food & another to ask for the bill. For us, she gave us the take out box to put our leftovers and then never returned to the patio for 30 minutes, avoiding us the whole time while she was in the kitchen having various long chats with the owner. Horrible service.More

The dishes are super-sized so don't over-order. And they come with small sides. Turkish breads and dishes are all home-made. The mains too are big and really fine. Out of the ordinary. Well worth a stop.

Medium sized dining room with a dozen or so tables; cosy and tastefully decorated. Classical and very good Turkish dishes, reasonably priced. Service very attentive and good. Good dining experience.

My first time trying Turkish cuisine. It was excellent. My son who has eaten in Turkey said it was authentic and I say delicious. It's a small restaurant and busy. Make a reservation.

Disappointing to say the least! Booked a table over a week in advance and got given a table right next to the door when it’s minus 2 outside. There was a small fan to help keep it warm but not impressed. We left and went...elsewhere. Last time we were there just after they opened and they had no alcohol since they were still waiting for their license. Won’t be visiting again!More

Great food with a lot of choices. The portions are big, so be sure you are hungry. The food is very tasty and the service is equally good. I will be back.

It all began on Saturday morning when I reserved a table for three via restaurant's website. The place was closed at that time and when it opened at 2 pm I tried to call to confirm with little success. We do not live nearby so...it took us forty minutes to get there. As we walked in nobody greeted us or paid any attention at all. Waiters looked at each other as if it was something unusual that somebody showed up for dinner. Finally one of the waiters came up to us and asked if we had a reservation. I told I did and gave him my name. He got confused and could not find my name on his scratch pad. Then he said that he needed to talk to somebody and left. The place is small so we could see him talking to other staff and they all looked lost. Eventually I realized that it was not going anywhere and after telling them that it was absolutely not professional or customer oriented at all. And we left with a really sour after taste. We went to Barans instead. What was supposed to be a nice family dinner turned out to be a big disappointment. They lack any skills related to customer service.More

I was there with some friends and family lately. Honestly, it was one of the best and coziest restaurants I have ever been to Toronto. Nice staff, delicious food with reasonable price for foods and services. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to...taste Turkish food and hospitality.More

I visited this place with family members. Soup of the day (mercimek) was followed by few mezes; yaprak sarma, cig kofte... as main dish, we ordered Adana kebap, beyti, lamb chops and eggplant kebap. Meat is really as you could find in Turkiye, taste is...great. The dishes deserved Turkish raki along side 😉 As a desert, a kunefe is the best! Sugar is neutralized with Turkish coffee... Prices may be considered a notch over average, but definitely worth what you get! I always enjoy visiting this place on a monthly basis...More
