A great range of beverages including beers and an interesting menu. The service was excellent and the food of very good quality. Very close to the Chelsea Hotel.

Had the chance to dine here for a business lunch in July 2016. Party consisted of Brits, Canadians and me, the lone Yank. Food was good, I sampled some items that were not on menus at "British Pubs" in the US. Portions were a little smaller than American portions, but we are fatties, aren't we? Adult beverage selection was good... More

We went there to just have a drink on the patio, which we end up having some appetizers as well, which all tested real good. If you are in the mood of having some British food this is the place to go. Like the unique way of serving dishes, each in different plate. Great to place to hang out with... More

Found this spot while wandering the streets after a light rain. Hard to pass up a nice pub. We grabbed a table on the second floor patio and enjoyed the view while having a pint and some fish and chips. Both of which were very good, especially after a whole day of walking around the city. If you are looking... More

Just arrived in sunny Toronto and thought I'd wonder around the city and see what I find. Boy, am I glad I stumbled across this place. As a Brit, I was naturally draw in by pub's pale blue paint job (as of course is standard for any self respecting gastro pub!) and sign at the entrance saying 'London Pride served... More

Never disappointed here. Nice beer with fish 'n chips....can't go wrong. Always want to try the Scottish egg, but sold out each time. Oh well, I'll have to go back...

The 5 stars are purely for the sticky toffee pudding dessert. Go here just for that, I promise you, you will not be disappointed! I also had fish and chips for dinner and it was pretty good as well.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast on a Sunday. We were walking down Elm Street and came across this restaurant. We decide to take a chance. We ordered the English Breakfast and Quiche. Both of the breakfast were fantastic. Even the coffee was pretty good. We were definitely happy we found this place.

This place is so super cute and cozy! It transforms so much like a real British pub you will think you are in Oxford or Cambridge while you are there. We sat outside on the deck and we're lucky enough to get the last two seats. It was a beautiful night. Service was great. The beer choices were good. Beer... More

Nice little pub just a stones throw away from the Chelsea hotel. Went just for drinks and sat on the roof bar enjoying the evening. Even have a baseball viewing area and tv. Top notch.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
