This place seemed more like a lounge with university students. Compliments to the Korean chef, who cooked the food instantly for fast service. We were confused by the Japanese storefront (Taisho) outside, which is the all-you-can-eat/pricier seating downstairs. Upstairs is Charidise—owned by the same restaurateur. Orders for “brisket donburi” were actually Korean bulgogi on rice; I was surprised that there was no egg or onion/vegetables in the bowl. The side dishes were Korean too, including Kimchee. We enjoyed the slice of salmon ($17). For two dishes and no drinks, the total was $45. Unusually, they only announced afterward that “cash or debit” only is accepted. Also, the number of stairs might ward off some patrons. However, the ambience is new or modern; and if you can find parking, it’s an indoor alternative to the many patio restaurants in the area.

We were all very hungry. The place next door had a line-up and Charidise’s patio was empty, so that is why we chose it. Three of us went for the spicy salmon or crab, Poke Bowls. I gave the spicy crab tacos, a go. Trying each and every one of the four dishes, I found them all to be excellent. Inside the place it’s quite classy and I’d wager it has been recently renovated. Now, why was no one there? I’d guess it was the name of the place. ‘Bubble Tea’ might not resonate as well as the owners would like it to.

Enjoyed our meals. Fast foodish but good. Drinks are a little on the expensive side but water is free. Good portions for lunch meals.

I been there twice. The food is twise as expansive as all the other places in Toronto, but they are also twice as bad. The overpriced food and the good marketing and hearing that the owner brock a law as well as they don't accept American Express because I pay for everything with American Express that the owner is trying to find sneaky ways to make profit.

Calling this place Taiwanese is a little misleading. They don't have many Taiwanese classics. And many of the dishes they do have aren't really Taiwanese. I had spaghetti with salmon. The sauce was similar to alfredo, so the dish was basically italian. It did taste pretty good though!

This place is cavernous, take a group here. For the Baldwin strip this place has a variety of seating areas and is so oddly value-priced! The Taiwanese food is very affordable (small plates, low prices) and good quality. Love the screen-ordering options. Very spacious patio for just hanging out. One thing, coffee is not great. Otherwise this place is a MUST visit again perfect for groups, families, friends. A delicious departure from the many Chinese, sushi, Ramen joints on Baldwin and in this area. Open late!

The menu is somewhat eclectic, featuring both Taiwanese-inspired dishes and typical North American fare, such as a burger. The decor is industrial chic, and they've introduced architectural features which bring in natural light.

We had just finished work and a friend suggested this place as she was recently there. It was Sunday around 4 PM place was busy but manageable. However, the staff seemed under some anxiety, lost, or confused. No Sundaes from the menus was available which was a great disappointment for such an amazing sunny afternoon. Anything in the menus that was photographed as purple (the Taro items) were not purple. We were told it was the correct order but they have a new bartender. We were also given a buzzer to let us know when our orders were ready. We observed that other customers who arrived after us were already reviving their orders before us. We were told again "sorry, new bartender". We had already been there an hour needed to start heading out so when we asked to have one of the meals made to go, we stood there waiting and waiting only to learn it was tossed out by mistake. They offered to make another one but withdrew be another 20 minutes... they then offered a free milkshake! Not even money back. It's unfortunate because the place is big and is really nicely staged. Not too site if we'd be going back there anytime soon though.

We had lunch there, we ordered popcorn chicken set and it was very similar to what I had n Taiwan. You order at the counter and they give you a tracker then when it is ready, They BRING THE FOOD TO YOU! It is a big restaurant, so quite comfortable to enjoy the meal. Can't wait to go back and try other items.
