My new fav French restaurant! Loved everything about this place - great ambiance, cozy semi circular banquets, efficient service (Chris), beautiful presentation, very tasty. Argentine shrimp were best ever. Super plump mussels. Spectacular salt crusted branzino. Delightful banana dessert. Very Highly Recommended!!!

Visited La Banane in March 2019 for business dinner. We had beef steak, and sea bass cooked in pie dough. Both were absolutely delicious. Glass wine was great also. Service, atmosphere, food - all good and suitable for business occasion.

After reading such positive reviews, we were looking forward to our evening at La Banane. The decor and atmosphere of a French Bistro were charming, but with all of the superb dining options available in Toronto, we felt that this fell short of the rave...More

Wonderful evening spent at La Banane. Beautiful recreation of a Parisian bistro on the Ossington strip. Attentive and knowledgeable service. Always nearby but never intrusive. Classic French fare with creative twists. Opted for separate mains but shared sides. Roasted beets, potato pave and aligot were...More

Really good atmosphere, excellent service from every single person, AND the food is excellent. A bit over priced but I’ll be back and will give them my money because they work really hard for it.
