We had Summerlicious lunch here with our daughters. It is so very pretty inside. The service is wonderful and the food very good. I found the portions to be a little small. Not sure if they do this because it's Summerlicious? If I was ordering off the regular menu and the sizes are the same, I would be disappointed. Service... More

From the corian table tops to the eclectic wall art, this is still one of the best restaurants in Toronto. After Mr. Prevedello sold his interest to his chefs, the restaurant's interior has been updated and the food has stayed at the leading edge of culinary Toronto. The Lychee Cactus Pear drink was so good that I had the two.... More

Hubby and I had the summerlicious menu at Nota Bene and very course was fantastic. Being a pescatarian I noticed the lobster bisque than was on the online menu was missing and was not replaced with another fish dish on the menu, meaning I was left with only the veggie option, the waiter offered me the tuna ceviche (which was... Corkage fee $35: high but bringing your own is better than paying 3xs the cost of a bottle from their list. I can only infer that they were shoving water refills to pad the bill. Attentive service is one thing - filling your glass every few moments, when it's not required and charging $8.00 a bottle for their soda-stream water... More

I LOVED Nota Bene. They got everything right. Yes, the prices were quite high (expect about 120 CAD/person) but well worth it. I decided to do a vegetarian evening and every dish was spot on. The vegetables were so fresh, high quality, perfectly cooked and flavored that dinner was a complete pleasure. They also had some nice wines - including... More

I was back in TO for work and just heading over to the Eaton Centre to pick up a few things when I walked by Nota Bene and decided to grab a quick lunch in the bar. Thursdays lunch special is the steak sandwich which I thought would be quick and usually a good choice so I ordered it. The... More

Been there twice. Very noisy, but hospitable. The food is good, but not over the top. I'm not sure if I'll go back. I only went there the second time because it was a better choice than the restaurants around that area of Toronto.

A group of 11 visited this restaurant during a recent convention. This very fine restaurant is "High Class" and pricy, however the service of Luis and his staff was professional, efficient and friendly. The dining room ceiling was decorated uniquely with dried vines and well lighted. The table well set and was large making it easy to converse. One of... More
