This tiny French bistro is always full and no wonder. Food is consistently good, service pleasant and efficient, and good value. Have referred many friends and no one's been disappointed yet. Worth a try.

An intimate little place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were there on a weeknight and there were but two empty tables to choose from. We had the grilled calamari with daikon to share, and it was cooked perfectly...just the right balance that keeps...More

Small restaurant that has great food and welcoming service. The owner/chef will likely come by to chat. As each dish is prepared to order, they are very accommodating of personal dietary restrictions. Prices are more than reasonable.

Visiting Toronto, we enjoyed this excellent little spot with our local friends, who treated us. My 14-year old daughter, who has a discerning palate, ate almost every bite of her salad and steak (except the beets). Benefiting from Toronto's "Summerlicious" pre-fixe dining, we enjoyed three...More

A hole in the wall that never disappoints. Very good food, personable and attentive staff (and owner), solid wine list and pretty good value. Hard to go wrong.

Neighbourhood restaurant small but not overcrowded. The staff is ex-CAntine of Avenue Rd and Davenport and this should be a good omen. The menu is simple and the food is very well prepared and presented with moderate pricing.

This small gem of a restaurant has become our neighbourhood place. The food is always excellent and it's small enough to hear the table conversation. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. I don't cook liver, so I usually order it and have never been disappointed....More

Wonderful warm reception on a short time frame before a show at the Tarragon. Nicely updated vision of the old Cantine. Classic bistro. Outstanding duck confit and a scallop special. All served timely and well. Impressed how they handled the theatre goers so that all...More
