I am really into burgers. This is a good burger joint but not an amazing burger joint. I would not go out of my way go back but I would go back. Better than fast food chain burgers.

Visited this place twice while on my recent Toronto trip. On both occasions I had the same chicken sandwich. It was very good. Whole real chicken breast grilled with choice of toppings. Bun nicely toasted. Did not have a side so can not comment on that. Did have a milkshake though which again was very good, milk and icecream so... More

I popped into this local burger joint on my recent stint in Toronto and sampled the Jerk Chicken Burger. The result was a tasty little lunch that packed a spicy punch! The store itself is a combination between fast food and hipster chic, with friendly, but somewhat disinterested staff. Not the best burger I have ever eaten, but worth a... More

add a paddy, get the rings, excellent! Like the homemade burgers you make for your BBQ, made to order (medium / well etc). Decent list of condiments.

I had a few hours in Toronto while waiting for a flight. I ended up having lunch here and was pleasantly surprised. The burger was nice, the poutine (and reason I chose here) was delicious and the service was fantastic.

I rarely review fast-food, or over the counter food chains. I am making an exception because over and over again I am impressed with this location. I have had the burgers many times, and in different cities - consistently delivering juicy, well seasoned, fresh tasting burgers. If you are looking for a quick meal or a great burger this is... Most reviews state that 'Big Smoke Burger' is the best in the city. I beg to differ, although the burgers are juicy, I found the combos to be a bit bland. I will definitely give it another try though.

They're burgers are always on point and their poutines are absolutely perfect. Their thick cut fries go really well with the meal.

Probably one of the best burgers in Town and the poutine is absolutely delicious. There is a good variety of options for the burgers and so far the quality has never let us down. The patty is juicy and the bun cooked perfectly. We love Big Smoke!

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
