This is a nice chill out place if you are looking for a good cup of coffee, food and wifi to chill the afternoon away. We were just bumping around the area and wanted to stop by a place to soend the afternoon. Ordered a juice and hazelnut latte with a cinnamon apply danish. Good food and good coffee...and service... Yes, it is a bit pricey. I have to say that it is better than Starbucks. I'm completely addicted to the Ice Aroma Light!!!

We enjoyed our coffee and cappuccino at Aroma, but I think most things besides the beverages could use some work. The service wasn't great: I was not offered milk for my coffee, and the worker at the cash seemed very bored. The décor inside is nice and my first reaction was that it would be a nice place to come... More

You can always count on Aroma for good food and good coffee. The menu offers a ton of healthy and tasty options - very different from most coffee places that just have pre-made sandwiches wrapped in plastic. A lot of reviewers noted that it's not that clean. I can't say that I have seen it dirty, but this is a... More

I have promised myself to never go to aroma again until they start to take more care of general cleanliness. Especially the bathroom where i would not let my grandchild use the toulet, it was that gross! Uck. I nearly lost my lunch when i stepped into the bathroom. You will be glad that i dont have a photo of... More

Recently had breakfast here. Food was decent, coffee good, service fine. But the place was not acceptably clean. Floors needed mopping; in the morning sun every glass window pane needed a good going over. Did not make me want to go back. There's too much local competition to be so careless. Also makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is....

We had three meals at Aroma. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. There was something for everyone in the family. It wasn't cheap, and it wasn't cheap food. Everything tasted like it was made fresh. The coffee was excellent. The salads were large and tasted healthy. We'll definitely return.

Aroma Espresso Bar can be found on almost every street corner. I ordered a white chocolate latte and enjoyed relaxing in a comfy booth with friends. They give a little piece of chocolate with each coffee. The menu also includes smaller lunch items. The chicken and pesto sandwich was amazing!

I was here yesterday. Coffee was decent but the place was a mess. Most of the free tables had cups, plates etc. and even the clear ones had not been wiped down at all. No one seemed to be making an effort to clean the tables during the two hours I was there.

I'm not a huge cafe goer, but there are a few things I like about this place. It's not a huge chain (like Starbucks and Second Cup, directly across the street from this place). There are some great salads/salad and sandwich combos, tasty breakfasts. The staff seem to know what they're doing. They call your name over a loudspeaker (yes, they... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
