My wife and I have been customers since they were in the old building and have always tried to support the Society through changes in management. So with that said we thought we would give the new team a try and waited 5 minutes at the door and there were several empty dirty tables and not one of the servers... More

Stopped for lunch as I heard the restaurant was under new management. A hot turkey sandwich took 40 minutes to arrive, and was a cold turkey sandwich by that point. Was not offered refills, despite sitting for over an hour, would not return.

I had lunch here the other day - have been here many, many times over the years. The menu is good, food always good, service usually good and can usually get a table right away. The only problem with lunch this week was the service was not very good and the hot turkey sandwich tasked a bit off. My lunch... More

Only folks from Thunder Bay can identify with "Finn" pancakes.....but when in Rome....you have to have them. Having grown up in T.Bay I've had my share of Finn pancakes, and these are comparable to my very traditional Finnish mother in laws excellent pancakes! There are a few places in this particular part of T.Bay to have this meal, but not... More

We are breakfast regulars. Today we dined on pancakes, eggs, bacon.. The bacon they serve is the best! Our server today, "Amanda" was as friendly and efficient as ever! Hash browns made from fresh red skinned potatoes! Hard to beat

The place screams Heritage somehow. Old stile dinner, everybody knows the place, the people and even the menu. The pancakes are good and remind me the “crepe” stile. One can order a few combinations, eggs, potatoes, ham, bacon, sausages and toast. Everything was good but the Benedictine eggs are not the forte. Good for a home style breakfast for sure.

More great Scandinavian food at reasonable prices. They're in a good location and have a decent amount of parking available.

Went for lunch with a few friends and everything was just average. Nothing to write about, the food was okay, the service was okay, and the price was okay. They have a decent menu with breakfast served all day. If you're looking for somewhere to eat with generous portions try it out. Don't expect anything special.
