Great vegan options! Perfect for a healthy take out dinner while staying at out nearby hostel. The young women working there were patient while we figured out what we and our three young kids would order. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially with USD/CAD exchange rates. Will definitely come here again if we make it back to Thunder Bay.

The food is amazing! Good prices, friendly staff and huge healthy portions of delicious goodness. The only downfall this little gem faces is the tiny atmosphere as its based out of a renovated home. It is quite overwhelming trying to enjoy a lunch while people are lined up out the door and waiting for their meal to go. There really... More

From the in-house sprouted lentils, house dressing and best naan bread, this is by far the best food in town. The only set back is the amount of space in restaurant and ambiance. But we typically take out so not a big deal for us.

It's a wonderful, tiny converted house which just hops but if you can squeeze in, the food is worth the cramped quarters. My favourite is their Buddha Bowl and coffee is delicious.

This little spot is quite a find! The menu is great for a health conscious meal. Would recommend lunch. If you want to eat there it's a bit crowded, but there's a nice little court yard at the side of the building. Check it out.

The menu is full of items that are good for you, but they are so delicious you won't be thinking about that. Something for everyone here, vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores alike will find something that delights the tastebuds and leaves you feeling energized. Just get there before the lunch rush because this place is popular, and you may need to... More

I love the Growing Season, and have for years. Everything on their menu is good for you, but is super delicious! My only negative is that the space is too small, and in turn- often over crowded, sometimes taking a long time to get your meal.

Popular for take out, the Growing Season offer some unique luncheon choices for soup, salads & sandwiches. The food is attractively presented and very tasty. There are small indoor & outdoor seating areas, so if you want to dine in go early. We met for lunch at 11:30 & by noon there were no empty tables & people were lined... More

Excellent restaurant. Food is locally grown. Fresh and tasty. Usually get living salad with chicken. Large serving. Whole avocado almost heaping with lettuces and sprouts. Home made vinaigrette. Place is packed full lunchtime and dinner. I find between 6 and 7 pm it's easier to get seats. And mid afternoon perhaps .tables outside too if weather permits. Worthwhile once or... More

We were very impressed with the quality of food at the Growing Season. Both of our meals were filling and tasty with the option to switch a tofu dish to chicken instead. It was pretty busy (and it's a small place), but there was also an outdoor patio area and the service was pretty quick. You can call your order... More
