From the outside, an ok place, one you could drive by but sure glad we gave it a chance ! We were 4 for dinner; terrific steak done exactly to order and huge portion ! Grilled salmon on salad was done to perfection; good Rueben...and seafood pasta was packed with seafood. Quaint interior with a nod to Parisian bistros. Get there early ( no later than 6), if you're going to the theatre as there are only a few tables. We had plenty of time. We went back for breakfast and were equally pleased. Easy to botch eggs but Romeo's were perfectly done. Bravo !The chefs know what they're doing. Nancy is a delight ! Will return again next time we're in Stratford.More

We recently dined at Romeo's Corner Cafe on a Wednesday afternoon while visiting Stratford. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The service was very friendly and accommodating but a little slow, so if you have theatre tickets be sure to leave...a little extra time and let your server know at what time you would like to be finished and leave the restaurant. A very easy walk to The Festival Theatre.More

This small restaurant has wonderful food, I wish we could have enjoyed many things on their menu. I highly recommend the Truffle Fries! Watch their hours, as they are only open for dinner a few nights a week and I would suggest making reservations to...eat here or anywhere in Stratford!More

This restaurant is clean, welcoming, and fast. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy and flavourful. The bacon was plentiful and crisp as were the house made croutons. My husband enjoyed the Brie Burger with Truffle Fries. The burger was...excellent and the truffle fries are a must order item. We look forward to our next visit to this lovely lunch spot.More

Went here with a big school group, 56 people. We sent our order in advance. They had everything organized and served everyone is just over an hour. Food was excellent!! Service was friendly and efficient. Not an easy task and masterfully accomplished. (Nancy rocked!!)

Wow! What a great find, just on the outskirts of town across the street from the Best Western. If you're in town for the Shakespeare Festival, Romeos Corner Cafe is a top spot. The breakfasts are plentiful with omelettes, fluffy pancakes, etc. Lunches include salads...and are shareable. Try the cucumber/melon tea.More

We enjoyed a lovely meal but it was spoiled by the one hour wait to start eating. And no bread or garlic bread on the menu was disappointing. We had a lovely, attentive waitress, Ashley, but she only had one other person serving I am...guessing about 30 tables that were full. We expressed our disappointment to her and received 2 free desserts which were excellent. So a mixed review - make sure you have lots of time when you go there, you will likely enjoy the food but stick a loaf of bread in your pocket to munch on with your glass of wine or salad. Cheers!More

This is not your average breakfast place, we almost passed it by as it had just opened at 8:30. It got very busy very quickly tho. Both meals were excellent. The decor is good and the staff attentive.

It may look like your average neighbourhood diner, but Romeos Corner Cafe is anything but! I wandered in with my family, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of food. We enjoyed our lunch so much, decided to cancel our dinner...reservations and go there for dinner.More

I stayed at the hotel which is right around the corner from Romeo's. I was greeted quickly upon arrival and shown to my table. The coffee is great! I had the crunchy chicken burger which was huge! The house salad was delicious! I definitely will...eat at Romeo's again!More

We have been travelling to Stratford, Ontario more in recent years, mostly staying in Bed & Breakfasts. This is the first year since COVID that Stratford has ‘opened’ with a full play schedule, Every place we looked into to stay at was booked for the...nights we wanted. We opted for the Best Western Plus Arden & Romeos Corner Cafe was across the street from the hotel - what a delicious, friendly gem. The decor is welcoming with jazz playing in the background. It filled up quickly for breakfast and we noticed most of the clientele were regulars from near and far. We had extra thick cut French Toast one day & on the next, we had a classic Eggs Benedict on a cheese biscuit with finely shredded potatoes & fruit on the side. Amazing! I can’t imagine a trip back to Stratford without visiting them again! Thank you Nancy!More

The food was good, and a good value for the money, but the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Five stars for the servers.

We were staying at the Best Western, which is in walking distance and decided to have breakfast here. We arrived just as they were opening, and it was a bit chilly as we entered. Once were were seated there was a steady flow of people....They seemed to be regulars because are server greeted them by name. I ordered the egg benedict. I had ordered the eggs to be "soft" but that wasn't what I got. It was still edible, just not my preference. What I did like is that it came on a biscuit rather than an English muffin. The other issue was they meal only came with shredded potatoes. They don't have home or cubed fried. Only shredded, again not my preference My mother had the kids meal with a side order of ham which was perfect for her as she can't eat a large breakfast. Our server (Elen) was friendly and prompt and managed to stay on top of everyone with ease.More

Hubby and I believe this is a little gem of a restaurant. Friendly staff and delicious food. Favourite of young and seniors. Very busy on days of plays in Stratford eg matinee days. Hubby had the reuben and I had the elevated macaroni dish with...truffle. Both very good.More
