The moment we walked in, the aroma was our first clue it was going to be a great meal. The menu choices were varied and it was hard to select one thing. The spring roll appetizer was perfect with a chili ginger dipping sauce. We had the brisket and the fowl preparation of the night. Both excellent and just perfectly... More

Overall, the service was prompt and knowledgeable, the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, and we very much enjoyed our meal. We started with the Ploughman’s Platter, which had a huge selection of meats, cheeses, breads, and pickles. The selections change daily and were specified on the "blackboard menu" - a paper menu of specials that is brought to the... More

Had lunch here on their side patio. Very pleasant and relaxed. Food was very tasty. Service was good although it took somewhat long for our food to be delivered.

This restaurant made an immediate positive impression on us as it was able to accommodate us at short notice on a busy Saturday evening before going to the theatre. The ambience is most pleasant and the décor is rather elegant, tending towards minimalist. The service is unfailingly friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of entrées: sumptuous... We dined at Keystone before a theater performance last weekend. The wait staff was very professional and eager to please. The menu was very diverse and the prices reasonable (in light of the offerings). The wine selection was good. We started with the spring roll. It was very well done and the ginger chili sauce was a nice complement. My... More

We stumbled upon Keystone Alley Cafe while looking for a pub that was listed on the Stratford Festival site as a place to eat. What a find! We had attended a matinee show at the Avon Theatre (just around the corner) and were looking for a nice early dinner before driving home. Keystone Alley had a sandwich board out front... More

This restaurant is a must if you are in the Stratford area! The food is extremely fresh and delicious. I had the Spring Rolls for appetizer, the Lasagna Roll for my main, and the House Made Ice Cream for dessert. Everything was so delicious. We were visiting family in Stratford from Vernon BC and they recommended we try out this... More

Pre-theatre supper at the Keystone Alley, which we found here on TripAdvisor. We were three, my mother, my wife and I. We had the fried calamari appetizer and the house salad both of which were excellent, far exceeding our already considerable expectations. Unfortunately it's not too often that you can get delicious fried calamari that are tasty, tender and not... More

7 of us headed here for a pre-theater dinner (we had reserved ahead) and were seated in a quiet corner where we could hear each other. The food is freshly prepared with layers of flavor. I sampled the Pickerel (light white fish not usually found on menus, at least in my experience) and the Braised Beef Brisket. Both were delicious... More

My dad takes me to keystone every week just like he used to go with my mother. It brings back wonderful memories for him. Even though it has new owners and a new menu they go over and above to make him feel special. The patio is beautiful with its edible wall, a quiet little hidden gem. They make the... More

For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
