My first visit to Canadian Grub and it definitely won't be my last! I had a delicious and flavorful Lobster Club and it was expertly prepared and presented. Polite, friendly, quick, service. Nice, cozy decor. Highly recommended for lunch. Located right in downtown Stratford just steps from the Avon Theatre.

Look at the enormous map on the wall above where you order - THAT'S where the food you're eating comes from! I love this, and how connected we feel to what we're eating. The food is excellent, and the prices are fair. This was a stop on the Savour Stratford Bacon & Ale trail, and we went back because it... More

Amazing sandwiches and salads and friendly helpful service. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The muffuletta was unexcelled. Eat in or take out. This is a winner.

This restaurant is right next door to the Avon theater. Limited menu of wonderful sandwiches, smoothies, quiche, salads etc. All the produce is Canadian grown and mostly local. Sandwiches are very generous, delicious and reasonably priced. Run by a couple of young men who are delightfully personable and entertaining. You could do a lot worse than eat here! We did... More

This restaurant uses only products that grow in Canada - so the menu is creative, and the local ingredients are fresh and well sourced. This visit I had the beef & bean stew, and it was hearty, and very tasty. The staff are so knowledgeable, and are clearly passionate about their menu. It's a friendly place with great food at... We're locals who like to support local restaurants and Canadian farmers. Since we've never eaten here, we thought we'd try it for lunch. Although it is a great and noble idea to only use Canadian products, there must be no Canadian seasonings out there. The turkey soup literally tasted like dish water with carrots and turkey added. A couple shakes... More

Grilled sandwiches are excellent. Fresh local ingredients. Mushroom soup was over spiced for my liking.

This is the only restaurant in Canada that doesn't import any food, so I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately the food was not good though the waitress was very helpful in choosing a local wine. The lobster bisque was on the thin side and was marginally flavorful. The borscht also lacked flavor though one of our group... More
