Smells so good in here and so many great choices for coffee/tea hot or cold, and yummy desserts and treats. We enjoyed chilled beverages and treats while soaking up the atmosphere after the theatre - buttertarts are the best! We'll be back...

The title says it all. The Chai Latte is like no other in Stratford & the tea biscuits are worth every penny.

I love the flavor of Balzac's coffee. This outlet is a great place to get superior coffee in Stratford. The pastries and tasty as well.

My wife and I are in Stratford for the weekend and stopped by this morning and had a delicious latte and glass of cold brew. My wife ordered a seed cookie and I had to go back and order myself one as it was such a different and tasty cookie. They have locations around Ontario and will be trying some... More

We were here more than once, enjoying coffee or iced tea with a seed cookie as a snack. A very relaxing space, with godd conversation with strangers always a possibility. The coffee and cookies are just fine.

Stopped in for a quick cappuccino. Great service, great coffee. Fun place to sit on the streetside tables and people watch.

Love the atmosphere, coffee is always hot and fresh and the desserts are very tasty. Over the years, we have had many excellent experiences there and even had small bags of Balzac's coffee as our wedding favours. After a bad lunch experience at the Red Rabbit, we decided against having our dessert there and went to Balzac's instead. Per usual,... More

Wonderful coffee shop. Terrific beverage selection as well as sweet treats, including gluten free and dairy free. Great service! Very busy. But, customers are served promptly. Clean restrooms. Small table and chairs with crayons and paper for the wee folk. Nice outside seating on the sidewalk and a lovely shaded porch in back. Excellent quality like all the Balzac's!

Three of us went for a "snack" before matinee of Macbeth. Cappuccino was excellent, hot and flavorful. Lemon tarts to die for. Funky atmosphere in heritage building. You can't go wrong.

Wandering along Ontario Street, I caught the most delicious aroma! My introduction to Balzac's Coffee Roasters and a great intro it was! Enjoyed a Double Iced Espresso with a Ginger cookie and that held me over for the performance of As You Like It. Went back for more after the show and again the next morning. Excellent coffee..... The best... More
