One would expect some real consistency at a place like Swiss Chalet, but while we have eaten here a number of times, the meals are good on occasion, mediocre at others. This was one of the other occasions; food arrived much too fast, waitress even joked about it. There was nothing really wrong with the food, but both the chicken... More

It seems that we have gotten into the habit of eating here after a trip to the Shaw Festival, and in many ways that is a good recommendation. While it's a bit off the highway, it is easy to get to (once you know where it is located), with lots of parking available, and a large dining area, so we... More

I'm all for chill in' out & mellow yellow but a salad should be green!! This is the third time I've tried it and while my expectations of Swiss Chalet are not for high end gourmet, would you please, please not fill the Caesar salad with only the bottom ends of romaine lettuce leaves! Let's get some green in there!

The food was tasty and quite sufficient; good, friendly service and atmosphere; can recommend. Clean surroundings inside and out.

It seems that we have the opportunity to visit this location of Swiss Chalet on a yearly basis, a convenient stopping place on the way home from the Shaw Festival. With beef now on the menu, it provides a nice change from all the chicken, and while the beef sandwich seems almost naked on a plate with a baked potato,... More

Good food, great service. Excellent dining experience. They're always coming up with new things and fresh ideas. Although through the years the sauce remains the same, you can get just about anything to order. And if you're really picky about food you can do it better by substituting pretty much anything in portions. I stop here once or twice a... More

First time at this Swiss Chalet outlet. Have been a fan of this chain for years - great chicken. First time I have tried the ribs. If this is any indication of the chain wide ribs, they should stick to chicken! Dry, overcooked and tasteless. Will return to Swiss Chalet - maybe not this one and/or maybe not ribs.

If you're eating in - no problem. If you're ordering take-out I would suggest checking your order before leaving the building. We order regularly and I would guess that our order is incorrect at least 20% of the time.

Description
Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?
