While we were in St. Catherine's we (all 13 of us) wanted a sit down, relaxed restaurant we could have a birthday dinner....all though they were changing their menu and did not have many items on it and did not tell us until we got there :( the meals we order and were served were beautiful and delicious! Fantastically fresh... More

I visited Dani's Bistro with my father for dinner one Friday evening. We had the steak and the lamb both of which were amazing. They were cooked to perfection and we were touched when the chef even came out to see how we were. While some have mentioned the small portion sizes, we actually found them to be perfect size... My husband and I were having a day out exploring St. Catharines, and we chose this place to have lunch because... well, I'm Dani. Am I ever glad we did. The decor is lovely, the food was amazing and not too expensive for what you get, and the service was fantastic---the place is also partially a wine bar and, when... More

I just had dinner with a good friend before attending a show at The Performing Arts Centre, which is right across the street. We had made reservations, and we were glad we did, as it was quite busy and the majority of the patrons were also attending the show. Service was prompt and we both enjoyed the main entree, chicken... More

Ours was probably a one in a million experience: the service (entire staff) horrible, the food very good. It took almost 30 minutes for one tapas to arrive after ordering wine at the same time (which arrived in about 5 minutes.) It also took close to an hour for the 2 tapas we ordered, sharing platter and pita and dips...... More

I really enjoyed my meal here. The place was packed when we went and had a nice, cozy vibe. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious. The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is that I think it was a tiny bit expensive for what it was. As a result, I'm not sure that we'll... More

Cute little spot. We happened to get one of the last few tables after just walking in off the street. Arancini was ok. The Caesar salad will require some assembly as it comes fully intact. The candied bacon was nice and the dressing was more of a vinaigrette but tasty nonetheless.

This was the best food I have had in so long. I had the lobster scallop hash and it was AMAZING!! I took a bite and the heavens opened up, angles sang, and the sun shone ten times brighter. If you need gluten free options, this is the place to go! This food was good enough to make our weekend... More

This place accommodates celiacs. The menu is superb. I had the grilled chicken club sandwich with fries. It was incredible. Literally incredible. Thank you Dan, the cook!!!! I wish I could take him home to cook for me forever. KORTNEE, our server, was extremely friendly. She is an angel with awesome conversation! I am from New York and this is... More

How can I say more than the title. I have ate at Danis Bistro a couple times now. And although I can't speak for everything on the menu. I can speak on what I have experienced. Recently I had the Prime Rib dinner special. I can honestly say that it was the best Meal I have ever ate in my... More

Description
Lovely bistro located on wine route and across from the Performing Arts Centre. We carry a large variety of VQA wines, many by the glass and even on tap. Hard time deciding? We also offer wine by the flight. We also have beer and cider on tap. Delicious and fresh, join us for tapas, for lunch, dinner or dessert, you will not be disappointed. We also have a boxed lunch option.
