Yummy but read thd "chasing the cheese" review and cool that the author gets a pass on chasing the cheese. or in real terms, working to make sure family has enough money to think about life in deep terms while taking a long walk on the beach. I'd love a way not to be in the rat race but have money! Great to have time for philosophy and do some Yoga. Let me know if there is a pathway.

Accidentally came across this place, I am always ready to try some new cheeses. A lot of them I have had before so there were just a few knew ones we wanted to try. The girl behind the counter knowledgeable enough. She gave us good sized pieces to try. We bought 2 kinds, a little on the expensive side but you know how these types of places are,...you have to pay to enjoy. A few other things to see and eat there.

This is our go-to place to treat ourselves to some of the most delicious quality cheese and other goodies. Staff are very knowledgeable and are able to answer any questions about cheese pairings. They also carry a nice selection of serving tools and dishes. We definitely recommend this local gem.

Nice customer service and cute shop. Great for getting taste sample. But I'm concerned at the prospect that their stock is old. I posted a scary picture to help you understand what I mean. The cheese looked like it had seen better days as well.

A wonderful assortment of cheeses to enjoy as well as foods to accompany the cheese you may purchase. We enjoyed the variety especially the cheese selections from La belle Quebec. The expertise and advice is very good and the atmosphere is very nice.

I walked into this little Shop (now located on Charlotte) and was amazed by the selection but the amazement didn't stop there. ...the two people working in the store were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I picked a couple of selections one I knew (Mont St. Jacob), a new one (Irish Porter Cheddar) and then I was stumped but based on my selections they recommended the Glengarry Fen which was delicious! They also have a selection of olives, olive oils and other delicious treats. I'll definitely be back!

The wonderful CTC ladies are helpful, knowledgable and friendly. I have never left there empty handed and always leave satisfied with my purchase. I love the fact you can have your own card in a little box that you have listed the cheeses you like, want to try or anything else that suits your fancy. Very helpful tool when frequenting Chasing the Cheese. The shop has all things relating to cheese, meats, vinegars, crackers and such. I love the little store and the ladies do a fantastic job!

This is a must if you love cheese, french bread, and knowledgeable cheese people. It is our go to place whenever we are in the area. They have a wide selection of cheeses from around the world, great bread, and are looking to expand. Can't wait!

Om cheesie om, a chunk of Big City Slow Food Heaven, a haven for gustatory pleasure and cholesterol abandon. A spectrum of cheese from subtle to stinky to ash in the middle to maybe ash on the outside, I forget, but no ash is random-- it's all artisinal. The blue cheeses... oh, to die for! Julie rocks her dairy passion here and you can sample any and if not all many (well, try it, see if you can try every cheese... I wonder if and when they will say know). Note, the cheese is expensive. You get what you pay for. Curdled whey from caves tended by calloused handed farmers and perhaps wise donkeys costs more than factory drivel. Look at it this way: a thimble of expensive blue cheese has more flavour than the equally priced supermarket sized brick of meh. Go. Tell 'em the Reluctant Hungarian sent ya.

Our first tour of downtown Peterborough and we were pleased to find this excellent cheese shop. I have been looking for Dragons Breath and low and behold they carry it. Friendly owners, we will return..

Stopped in looking for a few cheese gifts for friends and family and I didn't want to leave. The two ladies behind the counter were so patient in answering my million questions. The selection was endless and the customer service was top notch.

I really enjoy stepping into this shop as one is always something special about walking in. Whether it be the intoxicating smells or the array of beautiful cheese. The staff are knowledgeable and suggest items based on what you are familiar with. Thanks for the Ashley suggestion... such a great cheese!!! Everyone needs to go to a proper cheese shop!!
