Dropped in for the $15 dollar lunch special. Had a soup starter and chicken parmesan. Soup, ministroni was flavourful with firm el dente veg and noodles. The parm was excellent and very satisfying. Overall this restaurant gets a "recommended"

This is a family owned restaurant with typical Italian charm. We very much appreciated friendly owner's greeting and the chat we had with him during the service. There was a variety of different choices on the menu which my wife, myself and our guests appreciated food we ordered. Price was reasonable, mid $$ wine, tax and tips included. Overall, I... More

Our party of four went to Da Sergio's on a Sunday evening. It was our first visit. The restaurant is, to say the least, unpretentious. It is several steps below street level. When we entered there was only one table occupied. The owner/manager and a woman were watching television from a set hung at ceiling height in one corner. We... More

I have eaten here many times over the years for the simple reason that the food is always excellent. The menu changes occasionally but there is always a satisfactory choice for everyone. My personal favorite is Veal Limon. The owner is always there to greet guests and see that they are very well served. There are many repeat guests and... More

Da Sergio is the jewel among Italian restaurants in Ottawa, my wife and I going as often as busy schedules permit. The ambiance and warm reception remind me of several dining establishments I visited years ago in Rome, Florence and Milan. The two gentlemen who either own or manage the restaurant have always made us feel as if we're being... More

The Veal Picata here is the best in town, infused with lemon flavor & always tender. The Veal al Pepe is great as is the fettuccino alfredo.

A couple of friends and I had dinner at Da Sergio on Preston a few weeks a go. It was a lovely night and chose the patio. This was not my the first time there but my first review. The experiences prior were great, but not this time. Food was cold and not good, and service very slow even though there... More

This little italian restaurant was a real find. It is located in a basement but don't let the exterior fool you. The food is absolutely amazing but beware... if you are looking for fast service, then that is not the place for you. They make everything fresh every day. Without a doubt, the best little italian restaurant in Little Italy.

I go out with several singles each week and we require separate bills. We have visited every restaurant on Preston Street and have not had a problem about this except at this restaurant . The waiter was very concerned that we wanted to split the bottle of wine between three people. He said that if the liquor inspector came by... More

NEVER AGAIN! Im easily pleased when it comes to restaurants but my experience here has just been horrendous! The service was completely and utterly embarrassing. The old Italian man with the suit was the most ignorant disrespectful person I've ever encountered.. The food was decent Italian food but after the way I was treated with all the attitude and eye...
