Near Herongate plaza in a mini mall is a little gem of a restaurant for anyone who likes Thai food. I found the atmosphere elegant with nice subdued tones in the furnishings. Not knowing the menu, I was looking at the lunch time items and wanted a green curry dish but wasn't directed to the equivalent dinner menu item; not... More

My family and I always come to AiYara when we crave Thai food. Service is great and friendly, food is always fresh and we are guaranteed to be happy and full by the end of the meal.

We ordered food from Aiyara, it was so delicious, delivered hot and generous quantities, not cheap, but excellent.

Because we don't want to ever grow used to the treat that is Aiyara, we (an office of 6 to 10) are continually trying other places (not always Thai) but inevitably someone (not always me) opines that it would have been better if we had gone to Aiyara. Most of the time, we order from the lunch menu but I've... More

Had a brown beef curry delivered with shrimp wonton and a General Tao's chicken. Something went wrong with the curry - watery and mostly onions with only a couple of small scraps of beef. Like a soup, not a curry at all. The wonton which usually come fresh and crispy in the restaurant seemed like re-heated ones from lunch. The... More

This used to be my favorite restaurant. The food carving, the atmosphere, the service and the food got high mark. The food was authentic Thai, at least for North America standard. However the management seems to change since last year. It is now all new faces on the floor and the service has gone down. The servers are not experience... More

Lovely and gentle staff, never felt rushed to eat and leave. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Our four meals were served super fast and almost simultaneously. Huge servings of very tasty, healthy food. A rare find of a restaurant. So pleased that there are no TV's on site. A good place for lunch or super. Very reasonably priced.

Came to the restaurant after hearing from co-workers about the great food and service. It was Friday around 6 PM. The little restaurant in the Ottawa 'suburbia' was packed, so it looked promising. Got a tiny table, and a menu booklet that looked too big for this tiny table and the place. Number of available dishes was astonishing and since... More
