We have ordered twice for a weekend take out. Both experiences were awesome. The food is provided ready for you to do the final preparation but what they provide is five star. Today the lamb kabobs were incredible. Can’t wait until next weeks menus is...postedMore

We had the opportunity to go to Aperitivo and while it’s a little difficult to find it’s well worth it! The restaurant is very cozy with a great atmosphere. Our server was wonderful and the food is excellent! The variety of shareable plates was very...impressive and super yummy.More

We've been to Aperitivo many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always well prepared and innovative and the wine and drink menu are exceptional. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

Had a great lunch experience. The appetizers were excellent and the main dish was even better. It’s not a large place, but the food is special.

Excellent food and friendly service. My wife and I enjoyed their very tasty charcuterie and cheese and great pickled veg to start. Followed it braised chuck with polenta and cabbage (fantastic) and fish tacos (okay). Finished it off with a very tasty cheese cake. I...have always enjoyed my visits to Aperitivo. I highly recommend it.More

We have been to Apertivo several times in the past and always enjoyed it but this is first time I've posted a review. As someone with celiac disease, it is always nice to find a place that you feel confident in. We both had the...prix fixe, I had the scallops and my husband had the frico (a new dish for us) and everything from the charcuterie /cheese board to the truffle was delicious, well timed and presented and the server very responsive.More

Menu is tapas style sharing plates giving you an opportunity to sample several dishes. Amazing flavourful menu options. Always left with a full belly and a smile on our face. Frequent menu changes leave us wanting more. Thank you to the amazing owners, servers and...chefs for making our experience a memorable one!More

Tapas and staged eating may not be for those wanting huge meals but the entire vibe at Aperitivo perfectly suits its small plates meant for sharing and delicious flavours across the board. This restaurant shows how just a few ingredients takes a dish to new...levels. With a menu that changes regularly, it's like a new restaurant with every visit but with consistently yummy dishes. This time (winter 2020), the scallops and spinach (and I hate spinach) were fantastic, the candied pecans on the salad made it taste like a desert and the fruco with its fontina cheese and slowly building heat were a perfect end to a great experience!More

We have been going here regularly for the last 4 years. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, the staff is amazing, the food is top notch. Great wine selection and staff is very knowledgeable. Small plates but not too small. Ample servings for two to...share. We usually do 3 to 4 depending on what they are. One of our favourites!More

Service and food like no where else in Kanata. The changing menu is always a fresh idea, the flavors are incredible. I don’t seek out Brussels sprouts, but their new shaved Brussels is a must try.

Usually on Wednesday’s you should be fine. We don’t reserve the bar, so there should be space available. We are a small space, so things can change quickly, but typically there wouldn’t be any problem. If you would like to... More
