We ate at this restaurant in February for the first time after hearing good things. We liked the atmosphere for the most part, and the service was great (above average), but the food was not fantastic. The menu was limited as there were not a...More
My wife and I went to this restaurant last evening. The waiter knew little about the available wine or beer choices. Service very slow. The pasta was undercooked. The veil was underwhelming in flavour. The sauces tasted as if they were out of a can....More
Luigi is the Owner/greeter/chef and all else and knows how to make his diners feel welcome and special. He is an absolutely marvelous host, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The menu is small but focused as another reviewer mentioned. I had appetizer of escargot in...More
We were a group of 6 and chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend. What great advice that was! The atmosphere was great, the service was attentive without being in our faces all the time, and the food, well, what can I...More

We enjoyed a New Years Eve dinner with the family and it was just a wonderful evening with excellent food (especially the veal) and drink. The hosts were friendly and made you feel like part of their family.
Orleans is in dire need of some decent restaurants. Having searched the internet, I stumbled upon this little gem.

I believe all restaurants have off days and I suspect there are cases where competitors send people to specifically give bad reviews. Of course there are folks who don’t appreciate well prepared foods. I’ve been here more times than I can remember and for the most part was always very happy. I’ve brought many friends and have often recommended this bistro and all loved it. If something wasn’t what I expected, I do not hesitate to inform Jessica or Luigi.
