Absolutely delicious!!! I had Nutella and banana on mine. But very messy, so watch out. Definitely a must in Ottawa though.

I was expecting something better than what it was. There were a good selection of flavours or toppings. I just wasn't impressed. It was very greasy. I mean dripping with grease. It tasted like a whole grain slice of toast compacted and deep fried. A grainy texture. We ordered one iwth Nutella and it was spread thin but it melted... More

Beavertail pastries are available during Winterlude, Tulip Festival and can be purchased in the Byward Market. For me when you go to Winterlude, you naturally have a Beavertail. As you skate on the longest skating rink in the world (Rideau Canal Skateway) you can warm up with Hot Chocolate and a Beavertail. It is frybread with a variety of toppings... More

With the canal closed there must of been less locations available. We would of liked to get one but the line up was 50 deep. Hopefully they will open more!

Stopped by to get a beaver tail after a night downtown on the canal, and of course the Beaver tails were amazing. The service was great.

Don't worry about long lines, they move quickly and you are getting fresh warm treat at the end. Have tried them all but the original is still my favorite at the end of a skate on the canal.

Just perfect for the winter feeling and for being transported back to childhood - one is never too old for too grown up to love them.

Worth the wait in line. An excellent unique pastry. My suggestion: Stick to the original, cinnamon and sugar. Not for the calorie conscious. If you go to Winterlude in Ottawa, it's a must to get a beavertail. 'Course there is always one in the Byward Market and a couple of other spots in the city, if you want one other... More
