Nice treat. The kids liked the maple beaver tail. They were nice enough to cut it in half. There were very few seats and the beaver tail was super sloppy. It would have been nice to sit and eat. A decent dessert.

Part of experiencing Canada is to have a Beavertail when you come to Ottawa! I grew up loving the sugar cinnamon one, but now there's an array of flavors now. Enjoy!

Still messy and delicious to say nothing more would be wise. People have to try it once in their lives. So add it to your bucketlists. I always do the Killaloe Sunrise and the maple spread. Drooling......

Finally made it hear after a couple of years and I was only disappointed in the fact that I didn't go sooner. The dessert was amazing and wanted to immediately get another. I tried the basic cinnamon and sugar as well as the chocolate and hazelnut, both I would recommend.

Nothing fancy, a small counter area with limited outside seating, but a great light pastry to enjoy. Uniquely Canadian, but something that can be enjoyed by all.

I prefer to go hear then on the canal for the following reasons. There open all year round which is great & given the fact that there a business that stays open all year round they take care of there oil. On the canal, the oil they use can get really nasty. A true Canadian desert!

The beaver tail part of the Ottrawa experience. You must try. Beware of the srands that have too many rails prenaud and just reheat and the savoury ones. Beaver tails are a dessert; attempts to make savory ones are not worth the stomach space.

Stopping off at this stand to enjoy a Beaver Tail is a must when visiting Canada's capital. The most traditional is the Killaloe sunrise ... cinnamon sugar with a squeeze of lemon juice on top. The maple also gives a traditionally Canadian flavour, but you can't go wrong with any of the choices. Visiting in winter? Don't heditate to nibble... More

Since they started they've added some new and tasty tails. The only problem is that you have to travel to the market to get them.
