Overall my friends and I had a great time at this pub last night. Food was great and the bartenders scotch knowledge is amazing. We sat on the patio and although you are very close to the individual's walking on Rideau St. It was still nice. Only thing I would suggest to management is to advise the staff to be... More

Stopped in based on trip advisor review exactly as described, good selection of beer and scotch, great pub food and friendly staff. Patio to watch the world go by. Well worth stopping in. Cheers

We have eaten here a number of times in the past but this was not a good visit. The food, pub style with a Scottish twist, has always been good pub grub. This time the fish and chips were passable although the Scottish version of cold slaw was not worth finishing. The vegetarian samosa was good although the last bite... More

Nice clean place to stop by for a quick bite and drink. Staff where friendly and knowledgable and enjoyed my chicken club sandwich. A bit small on the fries but other than that was very good!

This has a nice atmosphere with a patio on the Byward Market in the summer. The waiters (both women and men) are in kilts. I had Fish & Chips which was good. I lived in England for 3 years so have a standard for F&C. My husband had the seafood chowder. My husband always orders a soup wherever we go... More

What a great place, so kid friendly. They accommodated a huge group of hockey boys and the staff was so friendly. Good food at a good price. The location is getting a little sketchy, but over all still really nice.

I just returned from a memorable meal at Highlander Pub, which also has the best selection of scotch whisky I have ever seen. And no matter how wonderful the food was (the fried chicken was AMAZING), our waitress (Sara) was even better. All around great place. Two thumbs up to the Highlander Pub...for having such great food, and for having... More

We stopped here about 11pm for dinner, trying to choose among many restaurants and pubs in the area of the market. Nice location, polite employees, normal food. They did not have our first choice on menu, so needed to change, which is never good for a restaurant or pub. We had lamb (good) anch fish and chips (normal). Good beer.... More

I get it, I really do. Some people don't appreciate Scotland's national dish. But if you do, definitely go get some and enjoy. And if you don't well there are other things on the menu that are really good too! Great Scotch whiskey as well over 200 types, Innis And Gunn beer.
