Finding the place was a bit difficult. We ordered their breakfast and a scone separately. The scones were really good. But that's about it. Unseasoned eggs, meh coffee, weird salad dressing, and ok service. We would recommend the scones and jams though.

This store (actually there are several now in Ottawa) is amazing. The best scones hands down in Canada. Baked in store with an amazing selection: vanilla cream, maple, blueberry, oatmeal and many others. Every time I am in Ottawa, I make a special trip to the Scone Witch for a BIG box! Not to miss!

It's all in the name, this coffee shop is mad about scones! Great selection of different varieties, I combined it with scrambled eggs and salmon. It looks like everything was freshly made, location is very central. Great stop for breakfast if you are visiting downtown Ottawa.

The layout is a little confusing and I stood there for a while trying to figure it out as the cashier just stared at me. I ordered a sconewitch with a salad. The cashier shortchanged me and then when I mentioned it she didn't understand. I had to explain simple math to her before finally getting the rest of my... More

Great scones. My favorites were the oatmeal and the vanilla. We have to stop here everytime we are in Ottawa. I believe there are three locations and they all do well.

The Scone Witch turned out to be a rare find in the business downtown of Ottawa -- a sit- down place that offered more than coffee and donuts. And, what a delicious find it was -- a unique, but fairly-priced menu, with scones that were truly stars. My wife and I each got the special blueberry scones, which were stocked... More

Be patient. It is worth the wait. Everything is succulent. Not only the scones which compare to the originals I had in England. But jams, muffins, cakes, coffee. The long lines are a sure sign of the quality and repeat customers.

The scones are exceptional - I have never had such light, fresh and tasty ones. The breakfast is almost an afterthought and not as interesting. Note it is hard to get a seat to eat in, so suggest you grab your scones and jam to go or avoid breakfast rush.

We went to the Scone Witch today for breakfast. Everything on our dish was delicious and not greasy at all. The honey glazed ham was perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed the freshly made vanilla scones along with the home made strawberry jam. Even the coffee was of good quality. It was a bit pricey at $15 but it was so... More
