We had read about the Scone Witch before coming to Ottawa, but found it really disappointing, as they were out of all of the savoury scones and didn't have very many choices left for lunch. I tried a sweet scone (apple-something), but it wasn't as...More

Went in on Sunday lunchtime, a bit of a queue to get served but no issue getting a table. I ordered the goats cheese, tomato and pesto scone which tasted amazing, fillings were quality ingredients and the scone had a bit of a crunch. The...More

There was a long lineup to get served. So we ordered 4 scones to go. Got both sweet and savoury scones. The savoury ones were still warm. Very light and fluffy, more like a quick bread than a scone. But still good.

This is a unique cafe - everything are scones! We had the breakfast plate which was very generous in portion. My fiance also had the scone sandwich with a savoury scone. Did find the menu confusing (didn't explain how it worked or the prices). Would...More

One small currant ginger scone plus a tiny little container of rhubarb ginger jam for $4.10 plus taxes is definitely way too expensive for what you get. I will not be back even though I think the place is really neat.

The scones are Sconewitch are to die for especially with a side of jam or cream. The full breakfast will set you back almost $20 with a pot of tea but as a special morning out I'd say it's worth every dime. Thank goodness it's...More

I love the scone witch. We always get them as a Christmas time treat. You can buy them frozen and bake them when you want to eat them fresh. You can also get dayolds for 1/2 price which are still very good. The gingerbread flavor...More

We found this place by accident while exploring round the parliament area. Scones are tasty and fresh baked with a wide range of ideas to turn them in to breakfast lunch or afternoon tea. We had the breakfast with savoury scones and scrambled eggs served...More

Amazing scones. A wide range of flavors. Even picked up some to bring home and stayed fresh for a while.

I'm from Edmonton and was introduce to this very unique deli/eatery today. I had the cranberry scone with the cream cheese cucumber with cranberry chutney. Great tasting sandwich. Perfect size for an afternoon treat. Now I'm thinking about going back tomorrow before I return home....More

Yes. I buy scones to go whenever I can. The caveat is to get there early because they can run out of scones by the end of lunch. They even offer to see frozen scones that you can bake at home.
