Great staff and extra value for the money. Always busy. Always good. Breakfast lunch or dinner. Be sure to know who your waitress is because the twins will fool you.

This used to be a MUST STOP passing thru North Bay each year. Last year was disappointing in both food and service but from all the previous good years we gave it a shot again this year - it got worse. Two (only) untrained servers, taking orders from new arrivals while the ice disappears from our water glass as we... More

Have come to Fifty's for breakfast on trips to North Bay the past couple of years, and found it to be a good standard family-style place for a classic breakfast. But on our visit this year, the food was generally disappointing. A lot of items had clearly been sitting warming for a long time. Toast was hard and stale. Sausages... More

My friend and I stopped for lunch at this diner. We were pleased with the food and the service. I loved the "hot hamburger". It reminded me of my youth at diners back home. I can recommend this diner for anyone.

Looks are deceiving from the outside. This restaurant in the Trout Lake Plaza doesn't stand out as particularly special or fancy, but it is abuzz with wonderful smells of good food, friendly conversations and happy, well-fed people. I usually go for brunch (Sundays are very popular) but it is busy every day of the week because of its great menu,... More

What can I say staff have been friendly on my two visits. The food is fresh and served hot. This restaurant seems to be popular with the seniors crowd and they offer smaller portions if you are not as hungry or on a budget.

We stopped by on our way out of town for breakfast/lunch. Food was really good and the service was great. Very friendly. Breakfast poutine was good, fresh cheese curds (they squeaked!). I went without the hollandaise as it was rich enough with the gravy and soft poached eggs. Burgers are homemade and the traditional club house was awesome. Would recommend... More
