The food was decent, but the atmosphere out on the porch was lacking. A couple of conference tables with white linens.

Both the service and the food were horrible. We were there on Sunday, September 5, 2021 for dinner. We asked for a wine, the waitress brought an other one, saying it would be better and the same price. It was bad and more expensive. The...soup (10$) had no taste. The salmon with mash avocado came with avocado that were not mash. It was more solid than a rock. The carbonara pasta came with no sauce, the steak, even if cooked properly, had no taste. The four of us were totally disappointed. When we left, an other couple was telling to someone not to go because it was horrible. So it was not only the four of us. Since it was very expensive, it was totally inacceptable.More

Not much to say. Great food, great service. Only ordered the main course because we didn't want to get too full. Got too full regardless. Excellent fish entrees. Beautiful presentation. Dessert of chocolate creme brulee was good, not great, but we managed to eat it...all up with no problems! Food is pricey, but a great choice for an occasion.More

This is fine dining well done. Service was attentive, genuine and prompt. The food was just fabulous. We tried the salad, soup, mushroom pasta and the featured fish. No disappointment. Excellent but pricey wine list.

Located at the end of town adjacent to the golf course the restaurant offers nice views of the green spaces. Parking is available for metered street parking or on some streets for free Service was reasonably attentive and prompt. Food: we came for breakfast and...it was a small but decent menu. The crab Benedict was good as well as the regular breakfast but the breakfast hash was a disappointment as there was really just home fry potatoes and no meat even though the hash was supposed to have some. Overall: A relaxing meal that was socially distanced.More

We had been to HobNob a few years ago and really enjoyed it. This time we decided to go with the 6 course set menu with wine pairings. My wife was really eager to have the fried Foie-gras which was included second in the courses....However, each course just got better and better. The mixture of ingredients in each just worked so well! Chef Thoshan came out and explained some of the dishes and was super friendly. Strongly recommend you have dinner here when you are staying in the area.More

My wife and I recently ate at Hob Nob and it was one of the best dinners we have had in a long time. Amazing menu choices along with a great wine/ cocktail section. The duck and rainbow trout mains were cooked to perfection, perfectly...seasoned and paired with delicious sides. Our server Alan, topped off our experience with his professional and knowledgeable service along with his welcoming and friendly demeanour. We will be back again for sure! Fine dining at its best in Niagara on the Lake!More

The menu was set up for Valentine's night. It was a sharing menue with 4 courses! Darren our server was awesome. The meal started with Tuna Chevice, followed by Halibut and Papaya Ginger Mango salad topped with Alfalfa sprouts. Next came Beef Wellington with potatoes,...carrots, and brussel sprouts! The final course was a desert tray. Everything from start to finish was amazing! It was truly a special Valentine's meal!More

Excellent restaurant that was recommended by our Air BnB host and we couldn’t be happier! This small, quiet restaurant with a roaring fireplace and large doors leading to the ground outside with a lake view & a golf course, has the look of the dining...hall from the 19th century and it is located within the beautiful Charles Inn. The food was plentiful, warm and so decadent and flavourful! I had the Truffle Mac & Cheese and my husband had the burger with the soup of the day (butternut squash). Our server knew the menu and the drink list well and even recommended a wonderful drink for me that was lower in sugar content. And as if this restaurant couldn’t be anymore perfect, it is located within walking distance to the picturesque, historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We walked over there later to have wine flightsMore
