Service, food, ambience- worth every (dear) penny! The beet app and the tuna tartare app made for a perfect meal. The veg options for hubby sounded boring but were not at all, and he loved the dish they prepared for him. Risotto with toasted sunflower seeds, brussels sprouts, and wild mushrooms. In his words just now, *#^*&% awesome. :-)

Delicious appetizers of the pork cheek and citrus cured whitefish. Really cannot fault the appetizers in anyway. Mains were sadly disappointing. Halibut was well cooked but the overall dish was salty and not complementary in its elements. The special was a short rib which was overly sweet and lacking balance of salt and generally lacking in flavor. The dessert of... More

I had Mackerel with Quinoa and Asparagus Salad. I haven't seen mackerel being served in restaurants except as in a piece of sashimi or as in fried fish. I was excited to try something different. Mackerel tasted like ones you can get from Korean restaurants. It was fried with its skin intact; it was smelly but salty and delicious. I... More

We moved to the area 2 years ago and have been making the rounds of restaurants to find local restaurants with good food and that are places to go to with friends and visitors to the area. Having read all the reviews and seeing the rating of #1 for this restaurant made us excited to try it for Brunch on... More

The most expensive and least tasty meal we have had in Niagara on the Lake. Food too salty or under seasoned, disappointing wine options. Very friendly hostess. Uncomfortable watching the manager micromanage wait staff. Would not return.

We had dinner here and sat at the counter seats where you can watch the action in the kitchen. It was a fun experience. The food was amazing- very flavourful and well executed. We don't usually eat dessert but we opted to do so and it was fantastic. If you are a foodie, this is a must try place in... More

One of my most favorite dining experiences in recent times. Everything was so fresh. The flovor of the vegetables and the meat were unbeatable. Loved it and will be back again and again.

If you haven't you should attend a Winemaker's dinner at Treadwell's. They feature a local winemaker, in this case Francois Morissette-you sit at one of two large dining tables in the wine cellar where a series of food courses are presented/paired with the wine. Throughout dinner the winemaker talks about the wines and their winemaking philosophy and James Treadwell explains... More

After staying at the 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa my husband and I decided that we would book in for brunch on our departure day of Sunday. I would highly recommend reservations, there were no tables available when we booked the day prior so we were placed at the granite counter overlooking the action in the open kitchen. It’s... More
