We loved Niagara Falls on the Lake! A quaint little town with small town charm. Beautiful flowers and vast variety of nice shops and restaurants. While there we stopped in here on a hot summer day and enjoyed a delicious ice cream cone. Large selection, friendly staff! There is a beautiful drive along the parkway on the way back to... More

We were wandering Niagara-on-the-Lake on one of the hottest days of the year and saw the ice cream sign and knew what we had to do! It was super difficult to ignore the bakery on the right side of the aisle, but it was just too hot that day for anything but ice cream/frozen yogurt! My companion had the frozen... More

High butterfat ice cream and.....FROZEN YOGURT ! Vast variety of ice cream flavors in several types of cones. Great place to gran a cone while shopping in the Old Town. And, if you really want to punish your waistline, the baked goods are amazing.

When you feel compelled to take a picture of the pastries in the window, you know the place is going to get your business! Once inside I was overwhelmed by the choices. The ginger cake and the humongous cinnamon rolls were tempting but when I saw the Eccles cake which brings found memories of my childhood in England my selection... More

If there is one thing in common to the throngs of visitors @ Niagara-on-the-Lake .. It is the love and passion for ice cream, me being no exception! My favorite thus far is a scoop of watermelon sherbet with "seeds" of tiny dark chocolate chips in a sugar come, so light and refreshing!

My family and I visited several bakeries while in NOTL. They were all very good, but Taylor's was a favorite (3 visits in 4 days) because you can get pastries and ice cream. Order the apple square, a tart or some other pastry and ask for a scoop of ice cream (or soft serve) with it! A really great combination.... More

We stopped in Niagara-on-the-Lake on a Wednesday in July and arrived at Taylor's about 12:30pm - I had talked up the stop to some foreign visitors I was hosting but unfortunately, the choice of scones, the reason for the visit, was limited to raisin or blueberry - feeling that I did not want to come back empty handed, I took... We used to come to this place on our every trip to Niagara on the Lake. Unfortunately, it became much worse. They switched from excellent ice-cream to a mediocre gellato. Portions became mush smaller and more expensive. We will not come back.
