My husband earned major brownie points for taking me to afternoon tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel. It was a very comfortable and relaxing time that I enjoyed very much. He isn't into finger foods so he bought ice wine to try and also an irish coffee while I enjoyed the dainty foods and tea. We were seated in... More

I had the pleasure of visiting the Drawing room in the Prince of Wales hotel in Niagara on the Lake, for afternoon tea and was delightfully surprised that they were doing a, Alice Through The Looking Glass theme. The Shaw festival theater is running the production and has partnered with the Prince of W. hotel for the tea. The wait... More

Dairy and gluten free was not a problem. We simply notified the restaurant when booking and they saw to it that the lunch was incredibly delicious for all concerned.

If you are in Niagara Falls, do yourself a solid and get out to Niagara on the Lake. Niagara Falls is touristy, Vegas on the US-Canadian border. Niagara on the Lake is quaint. Have high tea at the Prince of Wales (if you have to wait, have a drink in the bar). Taste wine at Trius (Red, late harvest riesling,... More

Two adults and 2 teenagers had afternoon tea at The Drawing Room. I have to say I was disappointed overall in the quality of the food. The tea was wonderful! I loved how they had you smell the teas before picking out which one you wanted. We all enjoyed the different ones we chose. The food wasn't so wonderful. There... More

There is a lot of history at the Prince of Wales hotel. For many years it has been a focal point on the main street of NOTL The Drawing room offers a fine dining experience that is not overly pretentious - and this is something that I appreciate. The dress tends to be "smart casual" which is comfortable. The service,... More

With a day's notice, the kitchen at the Drawing Room whipped us up a fully vegan tea with a tower of desserts that would have made just about anyone salivate with envy. It was delicious! We were so impressed that they were willing to work with our dietary restrictions in order to give us a wonderful tea. It was a... More

This is an amazing place, comparable to Browns in London England. The high tea experience in the Drawing room is five star. You are served on fine china, the clotted cream is amazing masc-pone, and the small sandwiches leave you believing you are in a castle in England. The servers are in french maid outfits and the team room windows... More

We loved afternoon tea so much we went both days of our stay. It is charming . The amount of food constitutes lunch and an evening snack. No one rushes you. This is a must do in NOTL.

We haven't eaten here recently, but when we did it was very good. It was a lovely place to stop for a nice cocktail.
