This is one little place that you don't want to overlook although it is hidden in the back of a clothing shop. The tea room offers Irish pastries and savoury pies. Particularly excellent if you are looking for gluten-free or vegan dishes. I have heard the soups are excellent.

We didn't have a chance to eat there on this visit, as the restaurant was very crowded, and many people were waiting. So I bought a bag of scone mix, which I baked up just after we got home. Absolutely delicious! Texture was perfect, and they didn't have that artificial taste that so many packaged mixes have. I should have... More

Banoffee pie was awesome - shame that the owner is retiring and tea room is going to become part of the store

I like to visit the Irish Tea Room at least once during my annual visit to Niagara on the Lake. This is where I can have the causal meal in the kind of tearoom that is more common in Ireland or England without the fuss and frou-frou of upscale afternoon tea decor (and prices). Their sandwiches and desserts are great... More

So glad we made it here before it closes in September. Get there if you can for a taste of Ireland. Delicious and delightful.

My wife and I enjoyed lunch in the tea room which is in the back of an Irish Goods store. Excellent coffee and scones. The scones were authentic on a par with the old sod or England as well. The toasted ham and cheese sandie was perfectly prepared. Good service in a quiet setting so not to be missed.

We had lunch at the Irish Tea Room. It's a small cafe-style place, with Irish specialties on offer. We enjoyed our lunch there, and enjoyed browsing the Irish gift shop in the front of the space.

Lovely, Lovely lunch with my sisters. Quiche, salads and banoffee pie....Delish! Wish we could have eaten here again before she closes. Hoping someone else will keep this delightful tea room open.

On our recent visit to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake we stopped in the Irish Tea Room for a quick lunch. We decided to do the traditional potato soup. It was very good. It came with bread which was very hardy. The restaurant was small, but clean and the staff was attentive. They also had a very nice... More

The Irish tea room is closing in September. It will be a great loss. Where will you get a great "cuppa" at a reasonable price in Niagara on the Lake. If you have a chance visit the tea room before it closes its door forever.
