For some COVID relief recommend eating at Prince of Wales. Frank and Graham provided wonderful service and helped us relax and forget world events. Vintage Hotels has great COVID precautions so definitely recommended for those nervous of the virus while having excellent food. We are...looking forward to return visit in the winter.More

After having an unfortunate situation, where things didn't go as they should have. Reception and management went out of their way to make things right. Mary at reception was an angel... an amazon person who cares. George, the floor manager tallied to us and invited...us to return. Which we did as we wanted to give this amazing place the benefit of the doubt. Wow!!! they are superstars when it comes to customer service and looking after things. We had an amazing lunch with my husband for our anniversary... Service was ourstanding. Mary looked after every detail including flowers and a card. Everyone was on point from the floor manager on staff to our server Lulu. Our meal includign dessert was extraordinary. Overall a memorable experience. I'd like to thank Kelly Exelby the G. M. for the professionalism and running a tight house.More

Stayed a night at the hotel with my husband and had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Service was excellent- thank you Frank! I ordered the fois gras to start and it was very good with the waffle, my husband got the cheese soup that...had a nice kick. For the main course I got the duck confit and my husband ordered the beef dinner. Dessert is my favourite and it was amazing! My husband got the cheesecake and I got the creme Brulee, yum! The paintings and decor in the restaurant are beautiful. Will return!More

This was the first time in a long time we had dined indoors due to Covid. We had a wonderful dinner. The food, the wine, the service, ... everything was fantastic! We had seafood and a bottle of Chablis. We felt very safe and no...concerns with social distancing. After dinner we went for a horse-drawn carriage ride... what a perfect way to end the evening.More

I had previously heard good things and was super excited to try this place. I called 3 x no one called back finally I decided to walk in and book, so we walked in and booked for 30days later. When they day came I was...excited I was hoping for it to be like going to a signature through Disney since we can't travel this year with covid. When we got there the hostess was less then pleasant but it wouldn't have bugged me except then we were give literally the worst table in the place despite it being dead and having booked in advance. I told my waiter I'd like to move to anywhere nice since I booked in advance he said no worries and got the hostess. She then told me she couldn't move us and its fine if we leave, so we left. My gal pals love going out I was going to book a large group high tea but instead I am telling everyone to stay far away from this place. I've had better service at McDonald's lolMore

Wow that came so fast...you will be expected to finish diner in less than one hour. They will ask you where you are from and if you say Toronto expect you will be rushed with your diner. We felt rushed out the door as the...waiter brought appetizers and the meal within five minutes of sitting down.More

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel- The breakfast was nice especially with Victoria- Only Maria was rude at the entrance and really not friendly (Oct 12 at 8am) The dinner was great especially with Mary (Oct 10 at 7pm) who tried her best to...find the best table for us- And Graham really professional- Food was good, but the kitchen was not really flexible for the menu as I cannot have sugar (health reasons), and even explaining at the beginning of the meal they could not accommodate and replace with cheese ... Only I had to pay for it.... A bit a pity if you check the final bill! Hospitality!!!More

Stayed at the Prince of Wales hotel (Noble is their fine dining restaurant) as a package deal that was good value for two nights, which included two breakfasts and two dinners. This was a birthday getaway. On booking our table, I advised we were celebrating...a birthday. As we were seated we had a "Happy Birthday" from the waiter, which was appreciated and showed that they had recorded that fact. However, when desert arrived I was disappointed that they had not taken the opportunity to place a candle on the desert. Food was better overall than at the Tiara in Queen's Landing the night before, but the lack of any real acknowledgement for a birthday -- which was a milestone birthday and the reason for the trip -- was very disappointing. I can't believe Covid is a reason not to provide us with a dollar store candle. If we can have a fork and knife on the table, surely a candle could be accommodated. We weren't even hoping for anything free, just a candle to make it a little bit special Honestlry, I would have brought my own candle and matches had I known nothing would be supplied. It was a small thing, I know, but a missed opportunity to make a good occasion so much better. It sent us both a message that they don't really care. Off putting for such an iconic hotel we had been looking foward to staying in.More

Had the prix fixe dinner. The seafood chowder was lukewarm and seemed to be missing seafood. Between the four of us, ordered the cod, delicious, the pasta, very fresh, the chicken was moist and the steak was acceptable but missing the onions. Too many other...restaurants to choose.More
