This restaurant is located just a block or two away from the crowds of Clifton Hill, but far enough away to get an intimate dining experience. Our server was Jazz, and he was fantastic. He knew every detail of every dish, including the daily specials...and even the seasoning on the different salmon preparations (there are 4 different ways you can get the salmon). OMG… I travelled here with a group of travel agents, and searched for great places to eat… but this was another level! Fantastic service, great menu and the food… oh my the food! If you’re a foodie, this will be your heaven! I had the...pork blackened with caramelised apple sauce and just WOW! The soup of the day was a beetroot soup and again another party in my mouth! Exceeded ALL expectations. Wonderful food from the appetizers to the desert. Local wine is worth a try. Rowen was thorough and his recommendations were excellent. Top value but not overly expensive. Would recommend this place to everyone. Cozy atmosphere with soft, pleasing background music.

Found this restaurant on Social Media and thought we would try it on visit to Niagara Falls. The service was excellent. Connor is very attentive to his clients. The food was also excellent. Hubby had the mushroom soup, tuna ceviche and coffee crusted bacon wrapped...filet. I had the seasonal salad and the beef strip loin with the bacon jam and truffle fries. Both our meals were delicious. The time between courses was done well - not too rushed, nor too long. The pricing worked well as we had a 3 item meal for $70 each which included my cocktail! Will definitely return and highly recommend it. Didn’t give 5 stars as my hubby felt the room was too warm and the two premium tables are right by the front door entrance.More

What an incredible experience! From the time we walked in the door until the time we left, Rowen, Connor, and the incredible chefs took excellent care of us. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. I asked if Connor could make a mocktail and provide...a short list of likes and dislikes, and he was able to magic up a "Spicy Jo" (a virgin pineapple margarita with a spicy kick) - one of the best mocktails I've ever had. Rowen was friendly, polite, attentive, extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and provided the absolute best service. My wife and I just had the wonderful experience of dining at Weinkeller for the first time since Covid struck. What an absolute treat! The ambience is warm and inviting, the food is freshly prepared in a variety of available choices, and the service was...second to none! Connor and Trevor were so friendly and constantly worked to ensure we were extremely well looked after. Their level of service is honestly a model of what service should be. Came here on a Satarday night. The place is full. Service is great but the food is average. Some dishes are actually disappointing. The mussels appertizer has strange smell. The mussels in the sea food main course have the same smell. Stop eating the mussels...after a few pieces. Fried goat cheese is good. Pork chop and salmon is not great but fine. Deserts are average. CAD85 per person is somewhat expensive based on the food quality.More

We went with another couple to try this restaurant based on pics and reviews. We had a great time! Quite expensive so be prepared but the food was really good. Service was outstanding; best we have experienced at a restaurant for a very long time....I had the goats cheese appetizer which was amazing along with the chicken with mushroom vermouth sauce. Based on descriptions, we had thought the restaurant made their own wine but we were disappointed to find that was not the case. They do import local wines though so that is important. Two points to take into consideration: -fireplace is real; while it is gorgeous, I was literally melting the whole time with the temperature in the restaurant. Dress accordingly. -my “semi-freddo” dessert was delicious but too frozen to eat comfortably. Please thaw a bit more before serving. Thank you for having us!More

This place was amazing!! It is so warm and inviting! My family was visiting great wolf lodge and wanted a nice dinner. Dan was amazing and the service was phenomenal! It is a winery within a restaurant. I was able to have a red wine...flight with food parings. Food: My husband and I let Dan decide on what we should get and it did not disappoint!! For apps we had the red pepper soup and beef carpaccio. The soup was so silky smooth and I loved the tang of the goat cheese. The carpaccio was well balanced and the panzanella salad cut the richness of the dish. For other apps we had the oysters, mussels, and goat cheese. The oysters were fabulous! We love Tide and Vine! The mussels had the most delicious broth and the fries had a hint of truffle. The goat cheese was amazing! I wish it had some black pepper, spice, or acid. It was so rich, but so tasty! For mains: we had the special. The bacon wrapped filet was so tender and cooked perfectly. The veggies were also amazing along with the potatoes. My husband and I were so stuffed before the mains!! The portions are generous, but we wanted to try it all!! Overall it was a phenomenal restaurant for food, service, and ambiance! We will definitely be back!More
