Overpriced Compared to other Perkins

We attempted to eat a family supper at Perkins on a Sunday at 7:00 pm to find out it was already closed so we had to go elsewhere. We wanted to use the children eat free (3 children 8 & under) )with a paying adult to save money but unsuccessful. Went back the next morning for breakfast (nothing fancy) and our bill came to $108.00. I did look at price of Perkins online for breakfast before we headed here and the menus I pulled up were 1/2 price of this Fallsview Perkins so just beware. Service was also slow and so was getting the bill with a restaurant that was 1/4 full. If the option is available purchase the $40.00 breakfast family offer.

Amazing service. My wife must eat gluten free and the staff went out of there way to ensure that there is no cross contamination. Menu options are great, food is good and generous and prices is what you may expect in Niagara. Parking is a challenge. The best option is to park at the other side of Victoria, near The Weinkeller, unless you are visiting the Casino and Parked your car at casino parking. Recommended!!

Very Good Family Experience

Perkins was a great family dining experience. It was attached to the Skyline Hotel that we stayed at so was very convenient for breakfast and lunch! The food was consistent and good, the service was very friendly. Servers were all great with kids and food always came out very quickly which is key with three small kids. Prices seemed to be a little high, but it is expected in a tourist area so certainly not complaining. We ate breakfast at a couple other spots and this was definitely the best.

Horrible experience

Plenty of empty clean tables and the reception tells me that we have to wait about 25 mins before we get seated because quote “we don’t want to overwhelm our servers” end of quote. Poor servers, they will never improve their skills / efficiency. And to make it worst, wait time to get food once seated is another 30 to 40 mins... although we ordered a prepaid menu. To avoid at all cost.

Worst service in history

We stayed at the Skyline hotel and received a discount voucher with our package. Naturally, we went over for breakfast. A group of 4 adults and 3 toddlers patiently awaited to have our order placed. Little did we know we would wait for OVER and hour from the time we placed our order to the time we received our food. While our serve wasn’t terrible- he was friendly, polite and professional, the kitchen staff were awful. Our food was bland, flavourless and practically cold when we received it. This place is so over priced for the poor service and shameful food. I would not recommend going here to anyone. Sure, this can be excepted if it was extremely busy but unfortunately it was not. Don’t waste your time or money here. This place deserves a zero.

I don’t know where to begin. We went at 4pm place was empty only us 5 adults 3 infants. Obviously people knew enough to not go there we remained only customers for the whole time which is unheard of in the Niagara Falls area. We ordered 2steak dinners at 32 a meal. They didn’t have a few of the meals we first chose to order. Both The steak was smaller than the palm of my hand and I had to spit out most of it as was too grissly to eat. We ordered macaroni and cheese for one child at 14.99 and it literally was a bowl of Kraft dinner (not exaggerating). The Burgers were ok. So for a bad meals we paid 238.00. The service was not great waited a fair amount of time given we were only customers. They failed to tell us they tacked on tip so I added tip when paying. So once I realized that I just tipped 54 dollars it was insult on insult. I demanded the extra tip back plus the falls tax. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but this was ridiculous. Live and learn from our mistake

Delicious food and wonderful service!

We always try to find a Perkins restaurant wherever we travel whether in the US or Canada. The food has always been consistently great, no matter which Perkins we go to. We usually go there for breakfast and each location, the breakfast was perfect! This location did not disappoint, the food was wonderful and so was the service! We have been coming to this location each year we come to Niagara Falls. My dad also loved it when he joined us on our trips. The only slight downside was the price, but I think everything in Niagara Falls is expensive. It was a bit pricier but to be fair you get a ton of food, so maybe the plates can be shareable. Thank you Perkins for making your restaurants food and service consistently great!

Dinner after a long drive brought us here because it was close to the hotel & a little cheaper than the closest restaurant. There was 1 server for multiple guests & serving as hostess. 3 orders: California Avocado Benedict had too much tomato, not enough avocado. Accompanying fruit bowl had flavourless melons, past their prime. Onion rings were greasy. Mashed potatoes - very small serving Waited another 30 mins before the bill arrived, long after all the other guests had already left. On a positive note, gluten-free bread was available.

Friends dinner out

My friends and I wanted to try a different spot. We saw the restaurant and it was spacious. At first we didn’t like the ambiance that much as there were not enough lights, but it all changed when the staff greeted us and entertained us. The chef on duty was very nice and he explained to us every single detail as one of my friend has allergy with dairy products. Everything tasted delicious and well seasoned. Thanks to James the chef on duty and the waitress who served us forgot her name.

Perkins Two Thumbs Up!

My wife and I we're on vacation from Vermilion Ohio and went to Perkins for breakfast and the waitress Satvir and Mansi "somehow" found out it was my 60th birthday. To my surprise, they came out with a chocolate chip muffin with whipped cream with sprinkles, singing Happy Birthday. And a mother who was sitting by us, had her three kids come and sing happy birthday along with Satvir and Mansi. I can't tell you how moved I was. They were the nicest young ladies. Whoever does the hiring knows what their doing. People like that are a credit to the company. They are the face of the company. I'll never forget that special day at Petkins!

Great service and food

Lyn was an amazing server and the food was delicious. I did not know there was a Perkins by the falls. We normally go to the one near the airport in Toronto when we come down so when my boyfriend an I saw the sign we was so happy and the food was great.

Food not good and the price was high for the quality.

We went here for breakfast last year and it was great. We went for supper this year and it was really bad. Paid $38.00 for a hot turkey sandwich. The turkey was cooked on the grill and had grill marks on it. There was no gravy for the turkey. Not what we were expecting. The potatoes tasted like the were from a box of instant. The salad was slimy. The restaurant had food on the floor. The only thing good was the pancakes .So disappointed after last year.. Won't be back.

Birthday trip

My experience was excellent. The server was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The food was good and was served in a timely manner. There was not a long wait even though my party was kind of big. After finding out it was my birthday, the server personally sang the birthday song to me. This was above and beyond and it made my experience really enjoyable. I would recommend Perkins to friends and family. Thank you for making my birthday special.

A helpful place to dine.

Had a great dinner and 3 or 4 breakfasts. The staff were very efficient and helpful. As tourists, my wife and I were grateful for the personal service and sightseeing suggestions. There meal suggestions were bang on. Also loved the morning coffee.

The advertisement we saw looked good and once located we had a substantial brunch. Was actually ion the WEGO blue bus route. We were served and hosted by Vanshika who was very friendly and helpful. She was in every way welcoming.
