This spot was terrific for our family: Above the hustle and craziness of Clifton Hill, with amazing views, friendly service, and tasty food. We had dinner and our son ate for free (just arrive between 5 and 6 pm for this deal!) and we all...enjoyed the view. Absolutely worth it, if you want a nice place with a view of the falls and a bit of a break from "Fun Street," as my son called the Clifton Hill area!More

This is another complicated review! We visiting the Fallsview Restaurant during our stay at the Sheraton Fallsview. We were excited about the return of the buffet - the first we’ve had since covid first started. We were also excited to read a poster in every...elevator that kids eat free. The food and service were amazing. The lady at the omelette station was amazing to watch. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, experience, view, and service. However, we were disappointed to be charged for all four of us (kids included: $29.99 per adult and $14.99 per child). The posters clearly said kids eat free breakfast and dinner. Apparently we missed another section that said “daily between 5 and 6 pm.” I don’t know anyone who eats breakfast at that time. The poster was totally (and I believe intentionally) misleading. A hotel of that size can afford better, clearer, and more ethical marketing. If you don’t mind a bill of $100+ for breakfast for a family of four, you’ll enjoy the meal.More

not sure why the negative reviews, but on our visit, we got charged about $ 30 for a buffet which is decent. there really isn't any great buffet anywhere, so this buffet is on par with most as average, which to me for the price...is ok. it had a variety of stuff, and we got seated pretty quick.More

The Fallsview Buffet proved to be a great experience. There was a great selection of salad options, entrees and desserts. There was a cheese and cracker station as well as a dessert station. Chef Dan was very friendly and created a complimentary delicious salmon dish...for our entire table. It was the most tender salmon I have ever had! They have specific hours where kids can eat at a discount. The view is amazing and we got to watch the sunset and the night lights on the falls.More

Came for Sunday brunch, and was not disappointed. There was a lot of selection, even for us with food allergies. There was a dedicated station for gluten free breads, which included a dedicated toaster. Staff was happy to prepare french toast for us, using seperate...pans and utensils. Buffet items were well labeled.More

Food is decent, service was quite good. Way overpriced for what it is, but they can charge whatever they want and they do. A good place to go if you are staying in one of the adjoining hotels and don’t want to leave the building.

Selection of food was so-so. Quality was decent. Price was high. All prices listed below are Canadian Dollars. Price was $40/each. Drinks extra. Glass of wine was $10. Soda was $10 or more. I mentally determined what I thought was a fair restaurant price for...each plate of food I got. I came up with $28. I paid $40, leaving a premium of $12. For that, I got to watch Niagara Falls for an hour, and my 4 year old ate for free (and he didn’t eat much). Wife also ate, so the premium is $24, plus another $3 extra for the overpriced wine, so $27 in premium. Deduct $7 for the kid eating and we are at $20. That is OK...I think $10 would have been more reasonable. So divide that between the two of us and I say it is $5/person overpriced. Neither of us thought the selection was great, but we thought the quality of what was there was good...except the mash potatoes which seemed instant. Not including at least soft drinks and ice tea is lame...so we just drank water. Adding 25% to the base cost to get some soda is crazy. At the end of the day, we didn’t feel too take advantage of, but we would not go back at that price...even with the $20 off coupon from our hotel.More

Wow $50/person for this buffet is outrageous! For this price they need to up their game. There were a lot of salads and roasted veggies (thank you!), rice, pizza, pastas, beans, (salty) soup, lasagna, meatballs, Mac and cheese, nachos, roast potatoes, coleslaw, potato salad, hot...dogs, ribs, chicken nuggets, spaghetti with shrimp, fish, roast chicken, prime rib, cheese and crackers, and a small dessert area with very average looking desserts. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my food. As a vegetarian I was worried that there wouldn’t be enough for me to eat. I was full but definitely cannot justify the price for what was very average food. Luckily we had a $20 coupon but still pricey for what it was. I found the service very disappointing. It was cold and impersonal. No effort to be welcoming. When we were seated, we were told that they didn’t have a table by the window which was fine. When we returned from getting our food, I noticed that a table by the window was empty and had been cleaned off. My husband and I moved over there only to be reprimanded by a waiter who said that it was empty but might not be available. Our own waitress witnessed this and said nothing. We went back to our “assigned” table while the table by the window sat empty for another 30 minutes — almost our entire meal. Most restaurants are willing to accommodate their guests but not here! Since we clearly wanted to sit by the window you would think that our waitress could have assisted us but she basically just ignored us. Obviously part of the attraction of this place is the view (which by the way is not even that spectacular) so you would think they would make more of an effort to seat people by the window if that’s what they would like, especially considering the high prices. The (breakfast) buffet at the Hilton is much classier, has better food and a way better (spectacular!) view of the falls. I wouldn’t eat here again.More

An amazing stop on our family adventure. A beautiful buffet with something for everyone and quite a lot for others. The view is stunning, its well worth the price but don't rush.

I asked about the fee...our breakfast was comped. I didn't push the issue, it was such a small amount! It was the only place that the fee was on our bill!

There is no guaranteed best time. We have been successful between 5 and 6pm, but that can change with the crowd. 7 seems busy during nice weather.
