Had their fish and chips meal. The fish was so fresh it melted in my mouth...super tasty. The batter was not too thick, just right and very well cooked. Nothing wrong with this meal... great dish!

Its our favourite hangout place in London. The food here is always amazing and consistently good. Its tough times and we hope to have them around. They have a good selection of drinks too. Good location and well spaced to maintain social distancing.

If you want to treat yourself to something special this year make sure you book a table.for brunch at The Church Key!! They have a secret weapon in the kitchen and he is Chef Cliff! Cliff is well known in foodie circles and is probably...one of the best kept secrets in London. Brunch comes with a basket of fresh baked goodness that is full of many surprises. I am always shocked by how good the croissants are. My steak and eggs today was a pastry stuffed with oxtail stew and a generous slice of prime rib and a perfectly cooked Sunnyside egg. You need and experience this for yourself! Thanks P&V you are doing a great job during such a crazy time!!!More

I'll be honest, we're persnickety foodies. We don't eat out often because most restaurants disappoint. However, The Church Key is always up to standard. The staff is exceptional, the food is high-quality and well-done. Their menu always includes their best sellers and guest favourites but...in true culinary fashion it also changes to include seasonal dishes. It is obvious this restaurant understands the importance of recipe development. Our party of five ordered many dishes. The halloumi was different from anything we'd previously tried but absolutely delicious. The corned beef and cabbage, a menu staple, did not disappoint. This dish is like love on a plate! The braised lamb was tender and tasty. The ploughman's plate, another menu staple, was recently changed to accommodate seasonality. As usual, it hit the mark. The winning dish of the night was most definitely the warm duck confit salad. Delicious! Few of us had room for dessert but the Guinness cake was an unusual, but delicious surprise! If you're looking for a night out give this place a try. Make a reservation or you're unlikely to get a seat on the weekend. ****of note.....there are both gluten-free and vegetarian menus. I do not eat wheat/gluten and have never been bothered by anything GF I've eaten here****More

I've been coming here for years and I'm embarrassed to say this is the first time I've written a review. The way I see it, this is the best restaurant in London. My friends will all tell you the same. I try something new almost...every time I go and I've never had a dish I didn't like. The owners and their staff are consistently excellent and the food is unreal. I also love that they change the specials all the time, as I say, I've never had a dish I didn't like there. I also find the prices very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. Last thing I'll note is that the brunch, though on the pricier side for London, is WORTH IT. The Sunday brunch is amazing!More

I’ve had meals at church key in the past that we’re Okay but this time, amazing. The smoked salmon scallops and burger literally melted in my mouth. Moreover, out of all the places we’ve tried to support during the pandemic, They seem to be doing...the best job. The table and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the staff demonstrated responsible practices. Hope to be back to dine inside this fall, although small; it would be one of the few I’d consider.More

The Church Key will always remain a favorite of ours. The consistency coming out of the Kitchen is hard to beat. We shared the scallops, Irish enchiladas, jerk kabobs, lamb curry and the amazing guiness cake for dessert. Everything was awesome. Thanks Brett for the...amazing service once again.More

Great atmosphere and food served up in style at a fantastic location. Service was also top shelf. Price is fair for value and quality. Cant go wrong as there is something for everyone... well maybe not those annoying vegan types..;) B
