My mom, daughter and I went to The Keg on Saturday January 7th. We were away for a hockey tournament and knew our hotel was full of hockey teams so we made a reservation via phone. We were seated within two minutes of arriving. The waitress explained the menu and our drinks were brought promptly and order was taken at... More

The food is really good but the service is extremely slow. I also found it quite noisy. I would recommend this restaurant

Went to the Keg January 1, had a perfect meal. In the past it has been a bit hit and miss but everything was on point tonight, including that we could make reservations! Party of three, varying tastes so seafood and prime rib and steak were dined on. No complaints about anything. Service was perfect. Meals arrived hot and timely.... More

The Keg chain may still be one of the best all around places to go for a good steak/ prime rib dinner, as a couple or with a group of friends. Our most recent meal here was with a large group. Service was attentive, the meals came out at the same time, and even the manager came by to ensure... More

It's just The Keg as you would expect. Very reasonable quality of steak for a moderate price. And the steaks were grilled to exactly how we ordered. They also tasted just like the steaks from The Keg anywhere else. However, the weakest link was the side dishes. There are definitely room to make the veggi more attractive and tastier. The... More

We took a family freind to the Keg for a birthday dinner. The staff were excellent. Service was A1. Food quality was good - better than previous visits. Probably the best steaks in Kingston currently.

Had a reservation for November 19th for 630 PM ,and were promptly seated at our table, which was for two. Directly Adjacent to us was a table for 6-8 but yet not occupied, with just a small gap between us Part way thru the meal the other patrons did arrive and that's when it got a bit noisy. Note to... Came for a college visit with my daughter. Went to Keg for a bite. Sat in the bar and had drinks and appetizers. Very cool place with great service. Busy with guests of all ages. Can't go wrong with a Keg but this place is very warm and welcoming.

The keg is reliably solid food. I had the prime rib, it was excellent. Staff are very friendly. If you're celebrating an occasion often there'll be a complimentary dessert. Awesome ambiance. Location is great, right downtown close to Springer market square. I've been several times and plan on returning many times more

Night two in Kingston took me to a steakhouse. I found Keg to be a great choice. I am partial to certain chain steakhouses like Sullivan's or Mortons and this did not quite measure up. I did find service to be attentive and food was very good but not great. Filet was render and cooked as requested. Wedge was good... More
