Taking a friend for lunch

A delightful time at this sushi restaurant with my good friend for her Birthday and a take away was also picked up for a sick friend to eat at home.

My friend's daughter recommended to us and boy was is delicious!! The variety they offer is incredible and the waitress was so helpful and pleasant. The service is fast and restaurant has a cosy and nice ambiance. For the quality of the sushi the price is very reasonable. We will definitely recommend and return!

I've been to Sima many times and always had excellent food and charming service. Coming from London (UK), I can't believe the value, and for such high quality too. Lunch prices are amazingly good. Try the tempura shrimp and any of the Maki rolls. The space is also delightful with exposed brick combined with Japanese simplicity. Even when it's busy... More

There are quite few sushi places in Kingston now. If you want cheap all you can eat, go elsewhere. If you want great traditional and/or fancy sushi, this is THE place. Delicious....full stop.

If we are ever going downtown to eat, there is only one place to go Sima sushi the service is what I would say is the best in town . The young ladies know what they serve The itamae (chefs) seem to get better at what they do in the fine art of quality and presentation. The owner and head... More

Always fresh, very friendly and attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. Try other sushi restaurants in the city but you will return to Sima as none other compares.

Always busy, which tells its own story. Most dishes are made in front of your eyes — also a great sign. Friendly staff and owners. Very central in the Downtown. Superb specials. Highly recommended. Become a regular and get free treats :)

We love Sima. They always have a new selection based on what is freshest available. Lots of sashimi that you just don't see other places in town.
