Found this place by accident while trying The Cannon ( big disappointment). We decided to come back and try Limoncello's for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The patio seemed like the perfect place to sit on such a lovely Sunday morning so our waitress happily showed us to our table. We were immediately gives ice water and coffee (excellent coffee).... Went late on a Sunday, after 8 pm and they were closing at 9pm. They did not shoo us away, the full menu was available and we all enjoyed our meals. My son and I had pizzas and my husband had the roasted pork and everything was very good. We also had gorgonzola salad and it was just fabulous, lots... More

In the 9-8th century BC legend would have it that failing to seduce Ulysses, Parthenope the siren threw herself in the sea and was washed ashore , landing on a rock in the southern coast of Italy . The real story being less fantastic would be that ancient Greeks established a colony starting on that very rock which is still... More

I've been meaning to go here for years and finally did today. It's usually very busy here and today was no exception. However we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful she really made the visit pleasant. She checked on us, made sure we were satisfied, and even spent a minute playing with our 8... More

Been here few times with my friend who lives in the neighbourhood and I've always been greatly satisfied with the restaurant's service and food. Would highly recommend this place to others especially when it comes to supporting local business on the Ottawa street of Hamilton.

Dropped in for Saturday brunch when we found ourselves hungry in Hamilton. Service was very friendly and efficient without being intrusive, and our eggs Benedict and Florentine were good, ditto my wife's "moo-moo" cheesecake.

My friend came in from Toronto to meet me on a Friday to check out the textiles on Ottawa North. We stopped in to Limoncello for lunch. She ordered the Fettucini pesto con pollo, which is described in the menu as, "Chicken sautéed with garlic, basil pesto and a touch of alfredo sauce". She admitted that she loves alfredo and would... More

I had Gorgonzola gnocchi that was very good. The small serving is more than sufficient. Even then I was unable to finish. Unlike other places I could taste the Gorgonzola. It was rich and creamy. Enjoyable. The focaccia bruschetta was just OK. The bread was so, so and you had to spoon on the tomato salsa making it awkward to... More

We went in about an hour before closing on a Sunday. There was only one other occupied table. In our experience, anytime we have gone into an empty restaurant, the service has been crap, but it was 8 pm and the sidewalks on Ottawa street had been rolled up, so in we went. We were led to a nice window... More

I went for a late lunch here and will never go back. I ordered the potato, leek and bacon soup that came with a dry biscuit. The soup was good, not great. Then I waited for 30 minutes for the server to come back and tell me if I wanted dessert I had to go to the counter and pick... More
