The atmosphere was cute and the selection of pastries was very good. We tried a scone, an apple tart and a chocolate caramel tart. They were all very good. Prices were reasonable. We shared a large pot of tea but I don't think they put enough tea leaves in it and it was very weak . The waitress came to... More

I enjoyed the atmosphere and food but the service was really slow. I was scared that my toddler was going to ruin something as she explored cute displays. I had planned to eat outside with her and watch the river and the swans but there was a bowl of sugar at each table that had wasps angrily searching for any... More

My daughter is a student in Guelph. She invited her grandparents to have tea at the Boathouse. So, this past Saturday we drove to guelph and had high tea. What a great spot. The chairs are all different the table clothes are all different the tea cups and tea pots are all different. And, the High Tea was excellent. I... More

If you love ice cream, this is a great place to treat yourself plus a few of the river. It is on the upper end of costs but very quaint and scenic Nice area to have a walk while you enjoy a variety of great ice cream which you can taste test first.

We went for a special girls' lunch out, our first time at the Boathouse... and we were not disappointed. It is a small parking lot but there is overflow parking just a short drive around the bend, so no problem. It is also a small tearoom, and appears busy - we went at 1:30 on a Saturday for lunch, and... More

This is such a cool place; they sell ice cream cones at one end and rent canoes and kayaks. That's why we usually go there. Lots of trees for shade on a hot day. It's only open till Oct. 31. We did have breakfast at the Tea House and it's a really cute, quaint place with decent food. This is... More

Charming teahouse restaurant on river in guelph. Enjoyed soups, sandwiches and scones with clotted cream. Afterward lovely walk along river with a delightful covered bridge.

Hiked on James St trail along Eramosa River up to Victoria Road and back the other side of the river. Lunch at the Boathouse was a perfect way to rest . Watching canoers paddling on the river was relaxing. Food and service good. They welcomed our friend's little dog.
