Charming teahouse restaurant on river in guelph. Enjoyed soups, sandwiches and scones with clotted cream. Afterward lovely walk along river with a delightful covered bridge.

Hiked on James St trail along Eramosa River up to Victoria Road and back the other side of the river. Lunch at the Boathouse was a perfect way to rest . Watching canoers paddling on the river was relaxing. Food and service good. They welcomed our friend's little dog.

We enjoyed our lunch at the Boathouse. We went there to try the High Tea - which two friends shared, They both thoroughly enjoyed the variety of sandwiches and pastries. We had a sandwich and salad which was also very good. It was an extremely hot day and the air conditioning was almost non-existent making it very hot! I would... More

Lovely cafe along the river. Patio is cute&nicely shaded. Interior is quaint but lots of seating. The cosy eclectic interior would be great for a rainy day as well. Lots to look at! Good breakfast and lunch menu. Loved my meal. Lots of people out on the river in rental canoes. Desserts looked good as well. Open in the evening... More

We enjoyed our ice cream so much the first night I was in town that we went again the next evening. The salty caramel pretzel was excellent, as was the bear claw. Very generous portions in waffle cones. The location is very pretty!

Its a cute little place could use a little more cleaning there were spiders but it could be because of the location. The wait was too long the ice cream was nothing special but the location is beautiful.

The Boathouse is a great place to check out in the summer! They've always got lots of ice cream flavours and you can rent canoes to paddle down the Speed River.

Best place in Guelph to buy ice cream hands down! Great area for a walk by the river or to just sit and enjoy the scene... with the ice cream of course.

Our Guelph friends took us to this delightful cafe for Afternoon Tea on a cold and rainy Autumn day. We were warmed by the cosy atmosphere and hot tea. My husband had hot chocolate, which he said was one of the best he's ever had. He's a hot chocolate connoisseur! The five of us indulged in traditional scones, jam and... More
