Second review for this place but I had to, it was just that good. Very clean dining room with polite and quick seating and service. I started with an ever faithful Mill St. 100th Meridian and the 5 lentil dahl which was very, very good. Followed up with a vindaloo chicken wrap also very good and a side Caesar that... More

Just had a very nice Valentines Day dinner at our local pub. Service was great and the atmosphere is always very comfortable. What I enjoy the most about this pub is the many beers they have to offer. All they need to do now is offer a few more dinner special options like lamb or prime rib, especially if you're... More

The Fat Duck in Guelph is an old style pub with a long wooden bar at the front, and plenty of booths in the back. My wife and I decided to sit by the fire (electric, not wood or gas) where it was quiet and cozy, and we could really check out the fare. The duck salad was impressive, with... More

Went to the Fat Duck with my wife and son in December. We shared the Indian platter and I ordered the fish and chips. Both were excellent. I would have ordered anything from their menu. Everything looks great. If I lived in Guelph I would be back often.

I read mixed reviews so wasn't sure what to expect. We went on a Friday evening around 7 and were seated promptly. Our server was lovely and food arrived quickly. Both the beef and mushroom pie and the curry chicken pie were delicious, with generous servings. Our only complaint is that both meals were barely warm enough.

Visited this place once. Prices are a little higher than expected. The place does need renovation, and brighter colors would help. Waitress was fine.

I like the feel of the place. They have a chicken curry pie that is out of this world... the problem, with the pie, is that they give you about half as much curry gravy as you need to enjoy the pie and charge an exorbitant amount to get a little extra gravy. The slice of pie and a drink... More

A great spot. We were looked after we'll by our waitress Deanna, very attentive and cheerful. The scotch broth soup was phenomenal, likely best I've ever had. The Artic char special was a tasty delight. It's so nice to get all food served piping hot. Great value and looking forward to a few more visits in the New Year!

It is not a usual vegetarian joint as pub style places are not usually V-friendly. But they have a outdoor patio with a huge screen and lots more indoors to cater to the sports fans. So that's what brought us here during the Euro cup this past July. We had some potato fries and those huge sweet potato fries, which... More

Came here after having a bad experience at another close by pub. Was greeted with a smile, beer was cold and food was good. Can't ask for much more!
