We attended a wedding at Langdon Hall. The staff were excellent and things ran quite smoothly. The servers did an excellent job. The wines selected were a VQA white that was quite enjoyable. The red was not VQA. But it was nice. We do like to sponsor our own. The dinner could have been better. the main, beef, was a... More

The history of this location is incredible. Too understand the wealth at the turn of the century and the travel patterns of those elite families fortunate enough to be who they were, is interesting. But then to be able to be part of their peaceful setting that they would have called home up to the late 1980's is a gift.... More

I have dined in this lovely restaurant before in the past and was truly impressed with the ambience, country setting, the crisp linens and the attentive staff and delicious food. Today, to celebrate my birthday, three of us thought this would be a perfect spot for lunch but being a Sunday they offered only the brunch menu. Everything started off... More

Dining or spa days at Langdon Hall have always been such joy. It is such a beautiful setting and the food has never disappointed. I just have a few comments regarding their breakfast. I think it would be wonderful if they put out a few more place cards identifying the items set out for their breakfast and freshen the deli... More

This place is so over rated for the fine dining. Dining area is old but really not as nice as you would expect. Beautiful setting outside. Food is scarce and presented well but way to pricey.

Tea selection is good with offerings of Darjeeling to a lot of oriental type teas. You get 2 warm scones with clotted cream, blackberry jam and lemon butter, 4 selections of savoury bits, no expected sandwiches...egg salad on a mini croissant and 4 very small dime sized chocolate cookie, a bit of dry cheesecake, a macaron, and a rather small... Our table was round, perfect for six adults who wanted to communicate with each other and to share experiences. Beautiful starched white linens covered the table and server placed serviettes on our laps as we sat down. When server took orders he did not ask if anyone wanted an appetizer and walked away so quickly and did not glance back... More

Food was presented exquisitely. They didn't ask if we wanted appetizers and when we tried to get the server to return, she didn't see us. The food tasted delicious. They serve loose tea but, in a teapot that is inappropriate for loose tea and it spilled all over the white linen tablecloth. So, many delightful things but a few WOW... More

$48 for afternoon tea service at Langdon Hall. Definitely worth the price if you want to treat yourself. What a lovely tea service. A wide selection of different teas. Our table tried black teas: Orange Pekoe, Earl Grey, and Cassis. All very tasty. When the tray came, I felt a bit disappointed in the portion size, but left feeling full... More

After a day driving hundreds of miles up from Pennsylvania and an hour of tedious border crossing, and another 100 miles of Canadian roads reminiscent of the industrial areas of NJ, I was immediately calmed by this wonderful quiet country inn. The main building is a warren of dining rooms , and I chose to eat outside under a tree,... More
