It is closed now. Too bad . Was a great little spot. Now a Greek restaurant. Not sure why it is still listed on Tripadvisor when it's gone???

We buy malasadas for the family throughout the year, they love them. It's best to call ahead if you want a lot or you can just drop in. They're very fresh. Malasada World also sells special donuts which are very good.
If you’ve tried Leonard’s malasadas in Hawaii, you know how delicious these donuts are. Although they are not Leonard’s perfect 10 malasadas, the ones from Malasada World are pretty good. They are made a little different. The selection is great, from the traditional to the...daring. I highly recommend them and whenever we are in the area, whether we are on a diet or not at the time, we stop by and get some.More
We talking with friends about place we should visit and this wonderful little shop, Malasada World came up in conversation. So we had to pay them a visit, took about a half hour drive to Cambridge, found the place on Aislie Street and had a...fantastic experience. It is a wonderful little bakery and fast food right on the street a little hard to find parking but there are lots of place to park. Once inside we had a little chat with the lady behind the desk, made an order to eat in and also an order to take out. They make an incredible pastry called Malasada, kind of a round doughnut without the hole, flaky and sprinkled with a special sugar. Ohhh so good. They also have a huge selection of many delightful pastries and an assortment of sandwiches made fresh on the spot. Anyone who has been to Portugal or once lived there they will know exactly what we are talking about when we say they taste exactly like they make in Portugal.More
Date of Visit: Saturday March 23, 2019 This was our first visit to MALASADA World, but it wont be our last. The donuts are made fresh to order - and they are made without preservatives, so they need to be eaten fairly fresh and warm....The options were pretty spectacular. The service was amazing - very friendly and informative. They also have sandwiches and other food items. This is an amazing place to visit in Cambridge.More
I can’t really do their sandwiches justice with words. Just get down here and try then. They are FANTASTIC!!
this is a great little Portuguese bakery where you can get great Portuguese sandwiches such as Bifana, and chicken and fish. perfectly cooked, you cant go wrong here
My friend took me here over all other ones in Cambridge area. Made to order fresh, very soft yummy donuts impressed me so much, it was worth the walk to there. They also serve light lunch with their Portuguese buns, which looked also delicious. If...you are in the area, i highly recommend to make a visit.More
This place makes fresh donuts on the spot! They are amazing! It's true not a lot of variety but you don't need a ton of flavors for a dozen donuts. Their nata donut is to die for!! We loved it and highly recommend.
Went there later in the afternoon. All the Malasadas were sold out. We were passing through cambridge and thought we would stop in. It was dissapointing but I guess we will go earlier next time
I stumbled on this place while taking a break from driving on the 401 Hmm this is interesting, and it was open for business so I went in and got a Portugese Custard Donut - it was delicious. I plan on going back with a...bigger appetite and try a few more things from their menu. Get off the busy roads and try out the little independent places - they all won't be as good as this little place - but you might find a gem like thisMore
Picked up a dozen assorted. Ate them shortly after. The six of us that sampled them all thought the same thing....they tasted like "day olds" - rather stale. Expensive to boot. Will not be returning.
This is no Tim Hortons - fresh, hand made, hand decorated donuts to die for. Expensive though...9 donuts, $23. But something special.
I came across a friends post on Facebook about Malassada World that peak my curiosity. Called up my cousins and headed out there from Mississauga. It was definitely worth the trip. I tried both the traditional and signature malassadas. Both are delicious. My favorite is...definitely the passion fruit one! I found the prices to be reasonable. They made the malassadas fresh for us. There weren't many left in the display. As we were waiting, quite a few people came in...the wait wasn't long. It's a small store front not much room to sit. Very cute set-up. We had a few malassada left over and had them the next day...they were still very good. I definitely make the trip again.More
Called ahead and ordered 1/2 dozen signature malasadas and 1/2 original malasadas. The shop is small, but very clean and was easy to find. The malasadas are fantastic. The passion fruit and custard ones are to die for, but the chocolate and apple crumble are...also delicious. We loved them. Would recommend you try them for yourself. They also serve Portuguese Calde Verde and sandwiches.More
