Met with my wife's card playing friends, they had chose Cafe Troy. Most of us are widowed. Cafe Troy has a different kind of menu. They offer 4 entrees that come complete with soup or salad, plus desert (a very nice selection). Bread baskets included. Prime rib was mostly chosen, one opted for salmon. All meals got high raves. Service... More

Lunch is good and hearty. Our table ordered tourtière, salads, quiche, pasta and chicken phillo. All were good and served hot. Spice is minimal but the food was otherwise tasty. There is a pottery shop attached with many varieties of styles and designs. Good place to treat yourself or others.

We have been having a Xmas get together for many years. Always to some fine dining establishment. Cafe Troy was this years choice. The menu is some what different. They have 4 or 5 entrees to chose from and they come complete with bread, soup or salad, appetizers and desert. One price$49.95 per couple. Beverages are extra. It was one... More

Cafe Troy was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the meal was delicious! I had the prime rib and it melted in my mouth! We had a peak in the pottery store before dinner and came out with some gorgeous gifts! All in all a great place to shop and dine!

Recco'd by friends, they took us on a bright fall day. Surrounding country was worth the trip alone. Service was efficient & friendly with some good food & wine recco's. Quiche , salad & pasta dishes were well liked. The cafe is quite something, so is the pottery store attached. Well worth a first & return visits.

Always a great place for lunch. Food and service is always great would recommend making a reservation before you go as it's always a very busy place.

My wife and I had the squash soup with the prime rib and the creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

The setting is charming with quaint gardens outside and a lovely, country cottage feel inside. The menu offers a range of meals all prepared with locally sourced products. Right from the promptly provided plate of tasty fresh bread and creamy butter we were impressed. The seasonal soup (squash and pear with a hint of curry) was just right for a... More

Our second visit. Last time we visited for dinner. This time for lunch. Still the excellent quality food in an intimate (and small) space. Classy. Friendly. Reservations are a must. This place is always busy. Visit the attached pottery store. Read the very interesting history. We watched and spoke with the artist and founder of this amazing place. A great... More

Been before and it is good as ever. The extensive menu along with seasonal menu offered made a choice a difficult task. Our selections were promptly served by well trained staff despite being very busy - always a good sign. All in all a good outing but would suggest you book in advance if you are driving from far.
