Lots of free parking and a great deck. We entered through the tavern and it was very dark and stinky, I would not have eaten there if I had to dine inside. Service was great and the eggs benny was very good, as well as the Caesar!

Went with a friend for supper. Server was friendly, food was ok. The mice running around the floor weren't exactly what I was hoping to see. Made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. There are plenty of other restaurants in Halifax, I wouldn't recommend this one.. Ever!

We bought a groupon for this tavern and thought we would try it out. Two of us ordered Sheppard's pie, one ordered Beef pot pie and my wife ordered Liver and Onions (yuck) but she said it was the best she had ever had. The waiter was a great guy and fun to joke with, we enjoyed the meal and... More

A group of us went to enjoy Wings night. First and last time for my wife and I. The wings were dry and over cooked. The beer that came with it was small. Service was mediocre. The premises really need a dressing up. It does not feel overly clean and is dark and dingy. Wouldn't take my wife there again,... More

Went here for the second time. Both times I had good meals each titime. The menu is quite simple, with food of all walks of life and should leave with a full stomach. I had the southern chicken breast with onion rings which were in substitute of the fries. All in all it is a simple place for tavern style... More

Run down poor food and poor service a local hole in the wall. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great outdoor patio, somewhat dark inside, but still nice. Always has very pleasant staff. Incredible selection of beers. I go there often as the food is very good usually--esp pan fried haddock (get the lemon peper--the cajun overtakes the haddock flavor. Burgers good, reuben burger good. Stay away from the haddock burger-tiny piece of haddock, big bun--you end up not... More

I’ve been to this bar many times over the past few years, mostly as an “after work” pit stop, it totally amazes me that people even bother coming back to this place, first time in I asked about drink specials, “we don’t have a happy hour, never did” a fact they seem to be proud of. As for the food,... More

The beer and service was good. However I can't understand why the wings could be so overcooked. There were only a few people in the establishment. "Only wings I guess". Who cares. 12.00 bucks waisted.

My wife and I visited here while on vacation. This was the closest pub and within walking distance to where we were staying. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was karaoke night. The pub was mostly full and patrons were really into the singing. It seemed like most of the people were regulars. We were just there... More
